SNKRX is a cool roguelite whose minimalist style betrays a surprising amount of depth and complexity. At first glance, it looks like a Snake clone with some roguelite elements over top of it, but it has a lot more than that going on. Check it out! - Hry

@@drvanon you just estimate. 0.85 for22 years ~= 20% + a teensy bit of compound interest. so 61$
@@drvanon Its actually not a hard skill to learn. Basically simplify the numbers and think, "does this make sense?"
In this case. 0.85*20 < 1*20. But the base will increase by a bit every time, so they are ~ the same. So $5 * 20% is ~$6.

Man I am genuinely envious. I've spent 10 hours trying to win on NG+2 still haven't done so. Congratz on the win! This is inspiration that I can get that victory.

i'm on NG+5
if you find yourself dying early, i suggest buying party members, no matter the cost or apparent synergy, as long as they deal damage.
to me, wave 6 killed me consistently until i started doing that.
then, midgame, if you can find yourself with a mercenary synergy (specially merchant) you're basically good to go, build your snake as you please. I have beaten it easily with mercenary, and have died (due to my own mistakes) in wave 24 without it.

just use warriors there nuts. i havent tried ng+2 yet. but i was getting destroyed by base game. then tried a warrior build and crushed it. littterally crushed it, it wasnt even close. and then ng +1 was just as easy.6 warriors, a priest and the right the right items. namely, warriors getting hit increases defence of party and time increases defence of warriors. it turns into your attacks dont matter, just wait a little bit and then ram the enemies.
Running into the final boss and still winning illustrates how far NL has come

i think SNKRX is the perfect intro to auto-chess mechanics because it's fairly simple, but most importantly, it's not pvp. It's really hard to learn not just how to play a specific auto-chess game, but the entire genre, when you're up against people who have like 300 hours in TFT

This game is such a perfect Mashup of Banter engine plus dope as hell mechanics.

Hearing the egg talk about tft brings a special joy to me that not much else can. I absolutely adore that game and I'm glad he seems to at least be having some fun learning it.
Hey NL, the mouse control where the snake follows the cursor is OP for maneuverability. It does take a couple runs to get used to, but I promise its Pog

The main difficulty of a warrior run is learning when to not run into enemies, but usually you just headbutt everything and "tis but a flesh wound"

25:37 Hearing him say SNKRX has taught him the mechanics of an auto battler, which opens the door to what he can play in the future.... I was like "SAP???" and looked up the first video in his SAP playlist which is four months after this video, so YEAH I would say this was a bit of a premonition.

Psykeeper, cleric, priest and warriors is so great when you get increase defenses on warrior hit. That's how I won my second time.

Are you playing the hyper tft variant or just the standard one?
You sell for 100% of what you pay for. So there is no reason not to take the cleric and sell it later. You lose no money.
You do lose money if they level up. A level 2 cleric sells for 1 less than 3 level 1 clerics.
Whether that matters is to personal opinion.

Hmm... this is still an older version of the game. The devs have since made an update to the item options, and you can level items now.

@@MilkyChanCiel So far I really dislike the new item design EXCEPT for Speed 3, which seems absolutely crazy. Put an elementor or blade in there and it kind of just wins.

The game gets updated weekly right now. I personally think the items recently got much weaker and farming gold became pretty much a necessity.

TURN ON MOUSE CONTROL IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE
The fairy is deceptively bad imo. From what I can tell the heal is random so it doesn't stop you from losing units and that's what I get healers for. You could have aunit at 5% life and unit at 95% life and it's a 50/50 the fairy just ignores the one nearly dead. Still think it was right play in this run for that sweet +15% damage
run the psykic next time, lvl 3 is so op

I don't know a nice way to say it doesn't work. It's not another voice, it's just kind of a desperate attempt to do one where it only sounds exactly like what it is, and the hard repetition of it is.. bordering tolerable. I know you think it's funny when your friend does it but.. he can do it lol.
