If you think the ball may strike the right side of a jaw, it must be rolling with left spin, and if the left jaw, right spin. That dictates inside or outside choice on the cue ball. Majid chose outside spin on that cut into the corner, spinning the six with right spin when hitting the right jaw and bobbled it out. There's a predilection for people to avoid inside on cuts, but except where position is essential to use running English on the cue ball, one has to go with the uncomfortable-for-you shot, but comfortable for the ball being pocketed.
