  • I show you how I have my welding rig setup for doing mostly tig work on pipe and job shop work. I am running a Miller PIPE / PRO 400 and a bunch of ‪@AlumareelUSA‬ reels. Im pretty happy withe the setup, I have about 60,000 miles on the 2019 Ford F250 powerstroke.

    I would love to see your skid bare. I’m about to start my build and it will be very similar to yours. I’m interested in seeing if it’s bolted down or if you’d tied it off, how the bottles are held, how the welder sits in etc…

    • @DarlingtonFarm

      I ran bolts to the 5th wheel hitch through the bed, you can have your welder covered really cheap on your commercial auto insurance if it's bolted to the truck

    I got two trailblazers I’m running now . One a 301g and a 325 efi . XL power . How you like the pipe Pro . I like the 325 how quiet she runs . Compared to the 301g . Is a pipe pro quiet running unit compared to the Diesel trailblazer ?

    • @DarlingtonFarm
      @DarlingtonFarm  Před rokem +1

      The pipe pro is so quiet you forget it's running. If you're 15 -20 foot from the truck you can barely hear it run. Now that trailblazer diesel on the other hand is so loud at high idle it's really unpleasant working off the back of the truck. You can lock it at low idle and weld up to 120 amps or so and it's not as bad but it's still super loud.
