Not enough people know and revere Emmylou, it is nice that Sherly acknowledges her legacy.

Been listening to Emmylou for 40 years. The best! Have also listened to Sheryl for a long time on CD or TV but it wasn't until I saw her in concert did it really soak in just what a fantastic singer she is. And yes I agree these two ladies are beautiful in addition to being such awesome performers.

Emmy is just older enough to have lost a little range, and stress and heartache have more than likely been the main contributor.. she is the consumate musician's musician. Sheryl still has the bell and middle aged tones and one the very best chanteuse. Both women have earned their points by being musicians first, behind other celebrities and then their own artisanship way to great too ignore... they will be hailed long long after they are left here.... still never too late to let them know how much we love them...
She told a musician friend it was touring with her rock band that did it.

I doubt there is another popular singer who has sung in as many duos and groups as Emmylou. Of course, she has had a fabulous career as a star performer. Her heavy involvement with duos and groups suggests to me that she has less ego and stronger passion for music than many performers.
The look on Sheryls face at the two minute mark says it all. That there my friends is a legend at her best
I live in Nashville and some years back I moved. I was talking with the movers, who had recently moved Sheryl Crow. They said that she had over 500 guitars.
