Thank you for this video. I did not fully understand some of the rules you have explained. I will add however, that I have found a couple of rules that I did not hear in your explanation. That is, the lit (flashing) pop bumpers, and spinner light that is triggered by a hole value and kickout. This is actually a very neat feature, as it has a electronic timer for this circuit, so after about 10 seconds, the relay is released automatically. Interesting, I could not find this in the main schematic, but it is indicated as a bulb in the left side only.
My friends are I are in the process of restoring/reimagining a Combat machine in really bad shape. Is it possible you could provide the base point values for the switches? We'd like to try to emulate the original scoring modes as close as possible initially (and then maybe extend some custom modes from there). We're having a hard time figuring out these values from the Ask Homework app as the gameplay moves too fast. Our project can be found at pinballplaid.com/about/. Thanks!
Hello! Can you make a good quality picture of the backglass. To make it vectorized. I buy a Combat machine, but with broken backglass. I would like to repair it. Or do you have a good picture of backglass, to print it 1:1 to a plastic? Thanks for the answer!. :)
I have a Combat. I haven't figured out what that column on the right side of the back glass is for? It has what looks like a set of eyes sometimes and numbers at other times. It is separate from the score boards.
Hi! If you are NOT talking about the backlit numbers on that big white pole on the right side of that soldier with the pink flag, I must admit that I don't get what "column" you mean exactly. I'd need a more specific description... But if you do, well, then you're talking about the "numbers to match" to win a replay at the end of each game... And if so, could the set of eyes be a "00" (instead of 10, 20, 30...90) perhaps?
@@Souldiver66 Hi. That's exactly what I'm talking about. Thanks for replying! So you earn a bonus ball if the last 2 digits of your score match the number in that white pole on the backglass?
@@brokenstr1ngs Not just a bonus ball! As the "Match feature" (if enabled) only happens AFTER the game is over, another ball would make no sense. Instead, every player having a score with matching last two digits to that number indicated on the backglass, wins a REPLAY! (Credit) Today, and playing your own Pinball at home, most players won't use coins to play the game anymore, which makes the Match feature quite obsolete - unfortunately. It could also just be turned of... But back in the days, when you had to put in your quarters, it was always quite satisfying to get a "last minute" free play. (BTW: Just a suggestion to those who are doing so: For once, close that cash door for real and put the key in a safe - remove any "free play mode" if any aplied - and use real bucks to play your game. Now, instead of (just) hunting a higher score, get back the old thrill by trying to win that needed replay to play on - and, if you succeed, that nice feeling of being rewarded and... being able to play one more, of course! A whole new (old) experience... ;-) )
@@Souldiver66 On WMS SkyLab I had the Add a ball configured for all options, and if match was enabled as well, it would actually give an AAB on the final match and you play more. lol
@luvthatapex Thanks! BTW: Nice to see you here on my CZcams channel. You probably remember me from the VPForums - nickname: CompuFox !? ;-) Have a great time!
I have no idea about the number of "Combats" out here and it's hard to put a price tad on it. 150 for a non working but complete machine is fair I suppose. Add the value of your work for fixing/cleanig it and the pieces replaced and you got a price. Find a collector or somene who really wants this particular machine and the "market rules" apply... ;)
@marstrek1977 I'd like to help, but I think we should use another "platform" to be efficient, such as skype or similar. (Find me as compufox66 at skype or name your messenger and nick. Except for MSN, which I'm not using at all!)

Excellent video of this rare game. Thanks very much!!!!!!!
@caincan111 If I forgot something about the ruleset, please feel free to ask! I will gladly add what's missing... ;-)

The layout of the pin is exactly the same as my Nautilus
Almost identical, yep - Nautilus has two more droptargets nstead of standups AFAIR...

How rare is this pinball? I just picked one up for 150 bucks. Got it all cleaned and working and was curious of the approximate worth.

@caincan111 Sorry, only saw your message now - and the link demands a Nickname and password...
