After watching one of your videos I feel educated and truly prepared to make fragrance decisions. As for this one... Bohemian Lime & Moonlight in Heaven! 🤩🤤 Both are gorgeous. I have Wulong Cha and L'eau D'Issey on my "Need To Test" list. Now I'm adding Bronze Neroli! Two more of my favorite freshies are Maison Margiela When the Rain Stops and Clean Reserve Skin. (At least *I* consider them freshies!)

It is absolutely stunning so thank you very much 😊 it reminds me of an old favourite from back in the day of D&G masculine but with the lime twist not lemon. You’re right about Wuloung Chá, some people dislike it when i wear it. My current favorite fresh perfume is Riviera Drive (Atelier des Ors) 👌🏼

Hello Josephine! Could you please review Fragonard perfumes? Or other traditonal French parfumeurs like Molinard and Galimard? Fragonard has many wonderful scents, suitable for summer or daytime in general. It would be interesting to hear your opinion!

To me, L’eau D’Issey smells like a juicer, slightly more complex version of In Full Bloom by Kate Spade. I layer the two and I smell amazing all day. It’s a great work combo. Not too expensive and quite unique compared to the other scents floating around me.

Yay! A re-do of Wulong Cha. I have a sample and tho I like it, I would not purchase it....too much "tea" for me. Ambra Calambria on the other hand, is a hands down winner! My frgrance ALL last summer and so much so, that I purchased another bottle last month so I don't run out...it is THAT good. Intoxicating fresh scent that screams Summer...IMHO. Looking forward to the re-do of Wulong Cha.......definitely will check that out? Any time frame on the new release? Thanks so much, Josephine....missed you. Glad to see you back. :)

Under the Lemon Tree and Bohemian Lime are great Freshies that ironically both use Lime: Philippine Lime and Finger Lime respectively. The former is actually citrus, tea and musk while the latter is citrus, fresh spice and woods. Cant go wrong eitherway or just get both.
I also have wulong cha and that is very orange-y with some tea in the background to my nose.
Im interested in moonlight in heaven after your description of it. It might be my 3rd purchase that you recommended after bohemian lime and Aqua Sextius

Perfect balance of spicy ginger, zesty lime, and crisp bergamot. It's not too sweet and not too spicy, just the perfect blend of freshness and zest. Truly unique, and I've never come across anything quite like it.

Hi Josephine! Have you ever smelled "You or Someone like You", by Etat Libre d'Orange??? I ask because it is the most incredible fresh scent I have ever smelled!! To me, at least, it's so different, such a perfect mixture of flowers and aromatics, it just makes me immediately happy! Thank you for the wonderful tips on fresh perfumes, God knows I need those, living in Brazil, haha! I have smelled Wulóng Chá and LOOOOVED IT! 😘😘😘😘

My favorite cool spring fragrance is currently Malin + Goetz Strawberry. Warm spring is Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca layered with Limon Verde. It smells like a fresh mojito 😋 Too bad LV is discontinued 😢
Oh yes, Limon Verde is such a natural smelling, gorgeous lime scent!😍 I got my bottle last year at Nuremberg Airport...haven't come across this scent anywhere else than at airports.
Also, what a great layering combo👌I like herba fresca, too, espiacially the fresh minty opening... It get a little minty-chewing-gum-like though at my skin- maybe I could soften that sweetness with Limon Verde 👍

I dont know how Diptyque did it with Do Son because I usually am on the hate train when it comes to tuberose but they formulated it so well that i dont get that horrible neausea feeling from it like I do most tuberose formulations, Rouge Malachite being one of the bigger offenders :(. Anyway Do Son is amazing and Ive come to really like the EDP too! I cant wait to smell the new version WElong Cha, the current one is a bit too sharp for me.
I'm not really mad on Tuberose as a dominant note, I get what you mean by nauseating. Rouge Malachite is immensely overated for me but then Twilly d'Hermès smells really good on? 🤷🏼♀️ I will have to check Do Son out

I live in Phoenix and most of the year is over 100 degrees (today it was 91degrees on April 9th). Anything more than a light fragrance is cloying and choking. I only wear light florals or citrus. Anything else just chokes you. Musky, woody, spicy or musk are hideous 9 months of the year. Literally headache inducing. I. Just. Can't. And if I smell them on someone it makes me nauseated.

Maybe that interview with Jean Kerleo where he said he hated calone. Smells like seaweed. It ruins everything!' that did it, but that fragrance was just so unescapable back in the day.
And even if I don't agree with the seaweed part (to my untrained nose calone smells like unsweetened, metallic watermelon), if it's present its pretty much all you perceive.

For fresh, I truly enjoy Dyptique L'Ombre dans L'Eau (even my autospell knew what I was going to type!)
Probably not what you mean by "fresh", but it smells like you murdered an innocent rose by the riverside while crushing lots of foliage (preferably a black currant bush).
