Great review, just ordered! Thanks for the discount code RANGER
Wow these are nice! By far the best covers for model 3! I just saw these and I want them! LOL
I just bought them LOL and used your code! For the price, these are a steal! Thanks again MTN Ranger 👍
Love these. I also have the Orbitals and Uberturbines for my 2021 Model 3 LR with the 18's. I lease my cars so these options are perfect for me. I have owned many nice cars for over 40 years and for some reason the M3 for me has been the most prone to curb rash. Instead of spending thousands of dollars on high end rims (for a leased car) then hundreds of dollars for rim repair (and lost time) I would rather have these and some spares to just take off and replace if curb rash rears it's ugly head. I am definitely going to pick these up when I upgrade next year to a '24 Project Highland M3 LR. I was thinking 19's with the sport wheels, but as I stated, that might not be the best idea. Thanks for great review!
Very useful, thanks 👍
Wow, those look nice! Makes me want to ditch my Rimetrix wheel covers..
Amazing video!
So far - and by distance - the best looking covers for Model 3 😍 Would love to see how they look on a Model Y 🤔
They don’t have the 19” version for Model Y yet. They have some other designs for the Model Y right now.
@@MTNRanger, ah, okay 👌🏾
@@MTNRanger yum my
The LR AWD M3 with Performance Boost is the bang for the buck Tesla. And given all the accessories one can buy you can go crazy tweaking to your heart's content. I have a 2022 PMY and dumped the 21" tires/wheels for some 18s from TSportLine. They are the TSTs that mirror the 21" factory Turbine wheels on a Model S. This is a PERFECT DIY video. Nothing was left out. Clear and concise.
Wish they made these Arachnid wheel covers in 19" for the Model S so I don't have to opt for the 21" Arachnid rims from Tesla!
I agree! I wish they came in silver.
Do you have to remove the covers when changing tire/tire rotation? If so how you go about putting a new adhesive lining ?
Yes, to access the wheel bolts. You don't need to replace the foam every time you remove them. They should last quite a while. I have had some on for a couple years now.
Great video can you name the brand or link the website the chrome covers you showed in the video, thanks
Sure, here you go: amzn.to/3K7p3yw
Do they have a 20" of that style & can you use it on a 20" model 3 perfirmance wheels?
These are only designed for the 18” that support hub caps. I don’t know if any caps that are made for the 20” wheels.
Good video. What was the wet wipes you used to clean the wheels?
Agreed Link please!

Hello, I had a lot of trouble with the 18-inch wheels because they were ugly. Thank you for the good video🥰. I'm also thinking about buying the Model 3, but I'm worried about the color.🤔 Can you recommend a white, blue, or midnight silver?
I like my Midnight Silver. Color is a personal choice. What is the “worry”?
@@MTNRanger I was thinking of Midnight Silver first.🥰
Regarding concerns, firstly, I heard that the paint peels off easily and is difficult to maintain because multi-coats are not applied except for white and red colors. Second, I live in Korea, but white is the basic color here, so if you choose this color, it is too common. I was worried about worrying about whether it would be a choice😞
It's a bit of a silly question, but thank you so much for your kind answer.💯😊
@@cesarfernandosilvamelo of all the colors, White has the most issue with mismatched colored body panels. My paint is very good, it was made back in 2018 when the cars were made in small batches with better quality. If you get a Chinese built car, the paint is better than the US factory.
@@MTNRanger Thank you so much for your reply I'm looking at 2022 production tesla inventory
i wonder how long this gonna ship from china? i ordered last sunday, no updates yet. california.
I'll ask how long it takes.
what did they do to your range?\
I haven’t done any specific tests. But my average Wh/mi and range of 290 is fairly steady.
I prefer the dark grey color than the light silver ones. We should trade!
Do these help with range at all? VS the Aero caps and/or VS no wheel caps? Thanks
Since I just got them, I can't say. My previous turbine covers were similar to the Rimetrix and Tesla covers. I'm guessing less efficient than the other covers.
None of that is true-all clickbait. Hub caps do nothing driving every day. Less weight is the only benefit, and it would have to be enormous to make a difference in commuter cars.
@@Patriot3 Have you done efficiency comparison tests on covers vs bare wheels? I have on other covers.
CZcamsr "Kobra Told Ya" tested the efficiency/range of these against a few other covers and found them to be quite good! 😊 His testing method is pretty scientific (despite him saying it's not).
Do these come with black Tesla logos as well?
Just order one like this: amzn.to/48Lp1GS
The website for these claims no impact to range, so wondering if that’s true at all.
Looking at the past two weeks of efficient chart on the iOS Stats app reveals similar numbers to my previous turbine covers. I really need to run it for a month or two to reduce some of the variability like weather and temperature.
@@MTNRangerany update on this?
@@deionshepherd1331I have several sets of wheel covers and have been using the latest set most often. From my long term driving, I find all of the covers provide better range than just a bare wheel. czcams.com/video/HikY929WQMc/video.html
Very nice, they'll match the newer models with matte black handles/trim nicely. Curious to know impact on range, if any! (been loving the Uberturbine caps too much to switch though)
I'm surprised the turbine caps were as good as they were. Not far off from the Rimetrix and original Tesla covers. It remains to be seen regarding the new ones.
I have these on my car
How do you like them?
Hub caps are so ugly and cheap. I'm always amazed how many people buy excellent vehicles and settle for garbage covers. The wheels are not that expensive and the stock rim is very decent. But hubcaps? That's a soccer mom move for a ford station wagon. Or tesla owners buy stuff they can't afford and cool wheels are just out of budget. The chrome wheels on my old M3 match the car perfectly, unlike those terrible plastic covers. Elon is a genius in convincing everyone that hub caps types are excellent. 😅❤
Tesla models look outstanding with BBS rims. Elon could have made these styles stock just like the cars could have all had air suspension.
When we all get passed the EV ownership for the first time you realize how much cool shit you were cheated out of that use to be standard on ICE cars. Love my M3
Relax, it all comes down to personal preference. What is a problem for you is not for others. I personally love the ability to change out me wheels with five different looks in a few minutes. I get tons of positive remarks over the years and most people can't believe they are covers.
@@MTNRanger
Lol, I'll try and have nothing and be happy.
I don't think I've seen you do a video on adding Alexa. I just bought their newest version, and it plugs into the 12-volt power port with a USB. Then the mount fits neatly on the console in front of the armrest behind the cup holder. It looks very stock and hands-free Amazon music I think is amazing compared to the options in the browser.
@@Patriot3 No I haven't tried the Echo Auto yet. It looks like it can just use any USB port. How is it different than using the Echo app on the phone? I'm pretty happy with the new Carplay box I recently installed.
Some of us like the fact that these covers help keep the weight down on our Teslas.
