It would be nice if Fr Dan actually dressed like a priest when making a video. Not even a cross on his shirt collar?

Brendan, it’s not just about outward appearance. He is supposed to be a man of God. He knew he would be making a video. Anyone seeing this would think it’s ok for a priest exercising a priestly function to be very casual and perhaps even wear a tie die T shirt. It could have been a layperson delivering those comments. If a priest is exercising a priestly function he should be able to be recognized as a priest. Otherwise why not dispense with Roman collars and priestly garb altogether?. A cross on his collar would be the minimum.
