Do Christians read the Bible and see the contradictions. If it didn't contradictions then l would not deny it but if you read it it's the most confusing book lve read. The former worldwide church of God says that when people die they are dead as a dodo. Then why did Jesus say to the thief on the cross this day you will be with me in paradise. It just doesn't make sense.
@@Mrz-sb1hwHave you tried to listen to the Bible on the Bible app? It is free, and you can choose from the different versions. Try to use the "NLT" version, it is the most easy to understand. It may seem there are contradictions, possibly due to there being an old testament and new testament, but I assure you, there are not. Remember, Jesus came to give us salvation, because before him, everyone based their salvation on good works (example - "I'm a good person, I help others, give, volunteer, pray 4 hours a day" etc.) God does not live us dependent on us being "good". And Jesus offered himself as a sacrifice so we will have eternal life. Imagine your doorbell rings, and it's someone coming to take away your son for a crime he's committed. You tell them, "please, do not take him, but take me instead. I will take his place." You have not done anything wrong, but are willing to pay his debt so he can be free. That is the same thing Jesus did for us.

Jesus, hear my prayers these past three years have been difficult on me I am weak. Give me guidance. Please come back soon I don’t know how much longer I can hold on. As a single parent things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and my hours to work are limited because I’m now homeschooling them. I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them I’m so ashamed. I suffered an heart attack and I’m battling lupus I’m overwhelmed. Lord heal me. Father God hear my prayers. I constantly struggle to pay my bills and struggle to provide groceries. BUT I KEEP FAITH. Even though I want to give up. Jesus please take the fear from my heart. Father God it is you that gives me the strength to keep going. I praise you Father even as I fear homelessness please continue to give me strength.

God is good and loving. He has blessed me all throughout my life. When we were younger I’m ashamed to say I didn’t notice it. Now I am older and I can look back and see that he has always been with me. Through the good and the bad times. Praise be to God ✝️. The Bible says that whoever will not discipline their child hates their child. God is not an absent Father and God does not hate His children. Whom God loves He corrects. All God's laws are meant for our benefit not His. It's not that God just wants to control us and tell us what to do it's that God wants to keep us from the harm that sin causes. It's only because God loves us that He cares about our sin.
Absolutely our society has transformed into such a society where adultery debauchery and embezzlement are no longer deemed sins of enormity.

Acts 2:38 is still God's plan of salvation. It cannot be taken away. No man-made way can take the place of it. All scriptures on the subject have to harmonize together. We can't pick and choose which scriptures we like or dislike.
Mark 16:16, John 3:3-5, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:3-5, Galatians 3:27, Colossians 2:12, 1 Peter 3:21, all count for the truth of his plan. They all harmonize!!!!!!
Today man try to use Romans 10:9 and run with it not reading the first verse to see who Paul was talking about. Israel! We are saved by grace. That means by the goodness of God he set up a plan of salvation. and we didn't have to do anything for him to do it.
But salvation is not automatically applied. It must be obtained by obeying the salvation scriptures above. Believing and Obeying!

You would think by now there would be a Bible that didn’t use the words from example 1800 . It would have some kind of updated wording. Instead of circles and words that we don’t ever use today.
This is why a lot of people don’t read the Bible. Why some people don’t go to church.
I have so many questions that the words in the Bible don’t answer because of the vocabulary. It’s like the Japanese have new vocabulary versus the old vocabulary. People in mid age can’t even understand what it means or what was even wrote. So they don’t try . Because they have told me there understanding would be wrong.
So it keeps some people away from it. The younger people don’t even try to understand the Bible.
How are you going to understand a sentence if you can’t say a word or comprehend the words.
And I know. People will say go to church. I’ve tried that too. It’s hard for me to trust what someone is telling me the Bible says when I can’t comprehend. I don’t trust them.
I’ve never understood how people think every single church is preaching the same thing when they can’t understand the vocabulary.
Not every Christian is the same! You can’t have one that made straight As in school and one the failed or made bs and they BOTH UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE THE SAME.
That proves to me there’s no two churches alike.

So I’m not understanding how ANYONE thinks the Bible is teaching them the same thing.

What? Are fornication and adultery basically the same sin in God's eyes? If so, most of us over the age of 18 are all going to Hell. Period. End of story. The older I get and the harder I try to understand all of this, I only find myself getting more confused trying to figure out what is and what is not sinful. Are we really expected to follow in the steps of God/Jesus and be perfect? If so, perhaps He shouldn't have created us with as many flawed genes as we appear to have. God knows what He created and how flawed we are. Sure, good people can try to follow His teachings and commandments, but in a world where human evil runs amok (and I don't often see God do anything to eliminate any of it), how are we expected to be what He wants? Even His emissary in the Vatican, whose job is to show us the way to salvation, is evil! Isn't it written, "What ye sow ye shall reap"? I didn't "sow" a Pope who works for Satan! But God did. WTF? How are mere mortals to fight all of this evil, find the right path, and stay on it while feeding our families while more and more worrying about a future managed by evil lunatics? Including our Pope! As I said, rather than feeling I'm at least trying to stay on the right path, instead I'm getting more confused as the end times approach. And that's not good.
I have recently discovered the teachings of John MacArthur and it has changed my life. Please consider looking into his sermons online. His question and answer services are awesome. I’ve received so much clarity by listening to him preach God’s word.
Accepting Jesus as your saviour who died on the cross for our sins and rose again so we can be with him in heaven for all of eternity you are sealed! Past , present and future sins are paid for and there’s nothing that we can do, he did it all for us , the Holy Spirit now inside us will guide and convict us of what to do and not to do , but remember, you are sealed amd nothing can change that , you are guaranteed eternal life ! I have found a few good pastors that I feel are teaching the truth of the Bible,if you’re interested on CZcams David Reid , Les Feldick, Brendon Peterson, Spencer Smith: Third Adam Documentaries. Jim Devney or Paul Felter . They all explain the Bible so it’s easy to understand. Blessing and may God guide you.

This is really disturbing. As a child what kind of concept of Love would a child comprehend? How could you have truly loved Jesus when you knew nothing of love or it's many meanings. You speak of love from the perspective as a child but as a child did you long for the embrace of a woman? Did you yearn to feel her embrace and loving affection or did you think girls were gross and had coodie's like every other normal child at a young age? If you didn't then you must have been a weird kid. I think your making this dramatic story up to convince people of your belief to be the true belief and openly denounce any others claim or understand as false.
Please don’t use the abomination known as “The Message” translation. It takes God’s Word and warps it to one man’s interpretation.
I recommend the Modern English Version (MEV) which goes back to the original texts and translates each word from its original language and meaning. I would always couple it with a good concordance (Strong’s, for example).
