1. Loser, Baby. The song is so fun, and Keith David hasn't missed a beat.
2. Respectless. I love Broadway-esq argument songs, and Daphne Rubin-Vega and Lili Cooper both slap.
3. Stayed Gone. I don't need to say why this one is amazing. Amazing visuals and such a cool song.
4. Hell Is Forever. A fun rock villain song. Alex Brightman always brings it.
5. Poison. Very solid pop song, and gives a lot of insight to Angel Dust's characters.
6. Whatever It Takes. Epic rock ballad. Daphne Rubin-Vega is a queen.
7. Happy Day In Hell. It's a little stereotypical Broadway "I want" song, but it's a cool intro to Charlie's character and has some cool moments.
8. It Starts With Sorry. It's the least best number, but that's not really saying anything. It's not trying to be. It's just a goofy, wholesome moment, that further develops Charlie's character core.

Right now I am too uncertain. I need to listen to all of them until I get sick of them and then I can rank them. _Loser, Baby_ is definitely my favorite though. It just sounds cool, and it manages to be authentically self affirming and self deprecating.

I know "It Starts with Sorry" isn't at the top of anyone's list, but when that one was introduced, I genuinely cried because of how forgiving Charlie is towards those who don't deserve her kindness. That type of love and vulnerability takes strength that not many people have in this world, so it's refreshing to have it be a wholesome addition to this series.

I think it might be Charlie. She mentions at the start that her mother has powers relating to song, so it makes sense that she might be able to make others sing. Even if this only explains like half the songs.

Loser baby literally made me cry for a good 15 minutes 💀✋ there so silly, I've always loved Husk but after watching episode 4..I love him even more😭✨ "Stayed Gone" and "Loser Baby" are definitely my favorite songs so far

Angel Dusts situation with his boss and "Poison" legit almost made me cry. The situation with Valentino literally owning Angel Dusts soul is absolutely HEARTBREAKING. The whole theme of angel dusts character arc is such a powerful and real one to explore. I CAN'T WAIT to see the rest of it!
this took me forever to decide on, but here's my rankings of this soundtrack since everyone else in the comments is doing it
1. Loser, Baby
i know this is almost everyone's first, or at least top three, but it's for a damn good reason. keith david's voice is absolutely GORGEOUS, and the whole idea of the song is amazing in itself. i love the idea of a sarcastic pep-talk song that turns sweet in the end, and i hope i see it again [executed well of course] in other media in the near future.
2. Hell is Forever
i dont think i can say much on this one, i just love alex brightman. despite his amazing voice and the comedy of some of the lyrics, the song has a great melody and instrumental that i just adore.
3. Stayed Gone
i think its safe to say that this song [along with Loser, Baby of course, and a few others] will be sung so loudly the whole school can hear by my theatre class. mainly me and my closer friends, but we will drag the whole class into this fandom. its such a great duet song, and i can definitely see me and my closest friend singing this together while studying.
4. Poison
my family is tired of hearing me sing this song already. i love this song an ungodly amount, and it would be higher, but GODDAMN KEITH DAVID AND ALEX BRIGHTMAN STOLE MY HEART
5. Respectless
yet another great duet song that i will sing at the top of my lungs with a friend. i love a good broadway style argument song, and this is a great example of one.
6. Whatever it Takes
its a great little rock ballad esque song in my opinion, and Zestial's voice is amazing to hear [including his tiny part in respectless] and i hope we get to hear more of him in the next few epiosdes.
7. Happy Day in Hell
its a classic "what i want" type of song, generally seen in disney movies, which fits charlie's character really well. there wasnt much in this song that stuck out to me entirely, but its still a really solid song in my opinion.
8. It Starts With Sorry
im just not a big fan of this song, its alright, but theres not much to it. its a little bland and even cheesy, but its charlie, so shes bound to be a bit cheesy at some point in the show.

Why I enjoy "Loser, baby-" just enough as the next user, my favorite song so far besides Stayed Gone? Is Respectless. I really enjoyed Velvet's voice and singing during that moment, it basically sold me on her voice entirely as I was unsure how I felt about it before. Whatever It Takes and Hell is Forever are also nice repeatable songs as well.
*Also I loved Vaggie's singing, her voice is crazy sweeter in song. Passionate even.*
But Stayed Gone and Respectless are my favorites.

All of these songs are great. Bravo. All of them are rightfully being praised but I feel that "whatever it takes" is overlooked. What a beautifully emotional experience that is for me, it touches upon sth. from my past which makes it hit like a hammer for me.
A couple of things 1) does anyone else get 'say goodbye to the holiday' vibes at the start of vox's song 2) i love the way Camila sings the line 'you and the vee's ' and 3) i also love that the finished the line in loser, baby

1."Loser, Baby"-best one so far. It sounds so nice and in context of the episode it's great too. Husk has a great voice.
2."Stayed Gone"-another amazing song. It's great in many partsand some other parts are just good.
3."Hell is Forever"-damn, is Brightman great. This song is so good. It's not as good as the other ones though.
4."Poison"-one more great song. It's great and is similar to "Addict". It's a bit blander than the ones above.
5."Respectless"-Velvette's part is good, but Carmila is just ok.
6."Happy Day in Hell"-the first song, it's good enough for the opening one. But the others are just better.
7."Whatever It Takes"-weaker song. And in the episode itself, it's also pretty whatever.

Stayed Gone is basically Alastor VS Vox the song and I'm all here for it! Vox's part of the song was catchy, upbeat and fast paced while Alastor's part was chilling, slow, and very sinister!
Loser Baby really showcases wonderful character development for both Angel and Husk! I never thought a song would take a typical calm pep talk moment to actually making Angel and Husk bond by embracing that they are losers! I love it so much!!😭
The other songs were great as well, but these two are my top favorites! But, if I were to rank all 8 songs from best to worst (not really bad, but still great), then here's my list!

This is the kind of entertainment that will never go out of style. It's hilarious, heart warming, thought-provoking, and truly inspiring. As someone with a BA in Drama and Psychology, I have to say that Hazbin Hotel left me in awe. I want to cry all the happy tears because this show is incredible, it's animated musical theater!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stayed gone is so good, I feel like it needs to be longer! I love it and it 100% needs an extension.
1. Loser, Baby - I believe why it’s so good is because of it’s relatability and the vocals are just perfect. It’s a wholesome song with witty dark humour and it’s overall an amazing song that has lyrics that connect deep with its audience.
2. Stayed Gone - Absolutely so unique. You’d expect radio voice effect to not work well in a song but man, he makes it work so seamlessly with other natural voices. It’s a fun song and I expect this to be a popular tiktok song soon 🤭.
3. Happy Day in Hell - Okay, this one might be a bit of an unpopular opinion since it is the stereotypical “I want” song. But man, it’s just an amazing “I want” song. It’s catchy and it reminds me of “Belle” from Beauty and The Beast (But with cussing) 😂.
4. Hell is Forever - Sorry, I love Beetlejuice the musical so sue me. 🫶 Also it’s just a whimsical take on a rock song so it fits his voice really well.
5. Respectless - Love it. Maybe too short and the sudden stop at the end in kinda affected the vibe.
6. Poison - He really popped off with this one. Brittney Spears who? Nope we have Angel Dust to bless our ears. Unfortunately, this one doesn’t hit that hard for me compared to the others.
7. Whatever it takes - Alright, personally, whenever I listen to musicals ballad are always the weakest for me. It’s either the MOST impactful song in the whole soundtrack or it’s just gives off normal vibes. Never in between. In this case, I just feel like it’s missing something and I love Stephanie Beatriz but her voice feels like it was lowered during the mixing of the second half of the song. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me.
8. It Starts with Sorry - I think as a community, we all collectively agree this was the weakest so I don’t need to explain lol.
