This woman moves me like no other. Thank God for Nina Simone, thank Jesus for Joni Mitchel. I don't know who to thank for Kate Miller, but I sure thank her - she moves me...
Such a fascinating song and voice. Living in the UK makes you feel you're all alone... I experienced that too even in the 80's. Kate is on the top of my list as Dave singers at the moment. Her voice is like velvet!
I know exactly how Kate feels, having lived in the UK for nearly 2 years. Loved it 90% of the time but 'the gap between what you say and what you mean' is a defining element for me. As Aussies we tend to say what we mean, and it's a shock to find others don't. This is a superb song.

This album holds a very special place in my heart, the last time I saw my daughter's Monique 7 and Chelsea 5 we would chill with this album by their request. It reminds me like an echo of what happiness feels like

She is so right about a lot of the UK. A lot of it is very private and you always feel alone. However if she had come to the Highlands she would have found a place where everyone is always welcome. Unfortunatly this song is so true in to many aspects
