Shouldn't be much of a problem , just check if you are getting 12 volts at the solenoid coil when the key is turned with a multimeter.Then check through wiring , I assume the solenoid is under control of an ignition switch sourced fused supply ?.You could also ' jump supply ' the solenoid coil direct from battery postive ( assuming neg. earth ? ). Never a fan of these ' vintage recreations ' but must admit it is growing on me and far better than most .Its family provenance is worth all the effort alone and truly a car of the period !.

My favorites was watching Land of the lost, Heman Masters of the Universe and Star Blazers 💪👍 Then mid 80s came around and British creme de creme of comedy hit State side. Or it was here but I just figured out how to move the rabbit ears. So I started watching the Young Ones!🎉😂😅😊😮

My dad always told me to leave unused vehicles & trailers without their brakes on. Choc them instead.
A fair few of these used for wedding cars.I think a later version uses the new mini.Not for me tbh
