You saw above the translation of what Artem (singer) is singing, but this song is very deep. Artem used the text from a Ukrainian traditional folk song about a couple of birds and how they were separated by a falcon (another bird), the birds in the traditional song are prototypes of people. The traditional song is very sad, but in this new interpretation it looks like the couple has a chance, so this song is kind of hope..and it's not about love only, it's like a hope for all of us, and here also the description of this song from the Artem (sorry, next text is not my translation so there can be some grammatical mistakes):
"Oi na Gori" is the first folk song that received a new interpretation in the "Your Poems, My Notes" project. After the "rebirth" in Pivovarov Production, even the message has changed: the original version is filled with sorrow and carries sad energy, while the new one is full of light and hope.
Analyzing the text, you can draw a parallel with what is happening in our country now. The Ukrainian people are doves of peace that were attacked by a falcon that decided to destroy their lives. In the new vision of the song, a motivating message can be felt: we must be strong and united. For the fifth month already, we have been showing the whole world that our multimillion-strong country has become a big family that will fight for everyone until the end. Despite all the difficulties and moral exhaustion, we burn with faith in a bright future, and we cannot be broken.

The work depicts a common picture for the majority of modern Ukrainians. A reality in which millions of families were forced to separate and feel the pain of loss. Family is also those people who share common values, dreams, and goals and come together for achievements".
