Dollar Tree DIY Home Decor | HOME Wall Hanging | Basswood Sign| Budget Friendly Decor Idea

Dollar Tree DIY❤️
I had seen many people doing DIYs using @dollartree products when I was in India. Dollartree is a store where we get everything in the store for 1 Dollar but due to inflation, it has become 1 Dollar and 25 Cents now. So after moving to the US, the first store I headed over to was Dollar Tree! In the MDF cutouts section, I took the “HOME” cutout, because making a home together and organizing it is one of the best things to do after getting married.
The Steps I followed:
1. I painted the base with two coats of Little Birdie’s Bubble Gum Chalk Paint.
2. Once it’s dried, I applied Little Birdie’s one-step Crackle Medium(a flat brush is recommended).
3. Once it’s completely dried, I applied a single layer of Little Birdie’s Lagoon Breeze Chalk Paint using a flat brush. Slowly, you will see the cracks appearing. As my paint was too thick, I couldn’t get proper cracks(Don’t use dried paints for projects with crackle medium).
4. Once it’s dried, I used Little Birdie’s Decor Varnish as a top coat.
5. In the end, I added some embellishments and it’s ready to hang!
