For three decades, the parish of St. Marien, the riding and driving club 'Gustav Rau' Westbevern and the city Telgte invite to Telgter carriage pilgrimage. This year's pilgrimage took place on May 30, 2019.
Around 80 horse teams from the Münsterland, Emsland and the Sauerland had arrived. Already in the early morning the first carriages arrived at the Planwiese in Telgte.
After a pilgrimage at 11:30 clock with auxiliary bishop Ulrich Boom from Würzburg under the open sky on the Planwiese and a small break, the carriages were presented individually.
Then it was about 15:00 clock in the historic old town, where the coach corso snaked under bells ringing through the narrow streets.
