Except for Morale and Auto-Revive, there is no real way to prevent The Glitch from killing at least one player per turn. Its minions, however, must be destroyed at all costs. Ideally, your party should consist of one member using a multi-target attack to destroy the minions and deal some damage to the boss (Matt's Swift Slash, Natalie's Star Shower, and Anna's Arrow Rain are useful here.), Anna or Natalie with Revive to raise the fallen or apply the Auto-Revive status if necessary or heal damaged ally with normal healing spells to keep Morale active, and the last member to deal focused damage to the boss or use Coffee on the party member with Revive if she gets killed.
Apart from its many immunities, The Glitch's main defensive asset is its above-average Evade stat. Since you can't reduce its evasion, you can increase your accuracy with Lock On skill, but the difficulties in keeping your party healthy may make this an inefficient option. Instead, you can use multi-hit attacks like Combo Shot, Arrow Rain, Legend, Star Shower, and Double Shot, or attacks with increased accuracy like Piercing Shot, Quick Slash, and Snipe to increase your chances of hitting The Glitch. Equipping accuracy increasing equips is also a viable option (especially Eagle Eye, Cowboy Hat and Shirt, and Target Badge). Despite its power, The Gitch has fairly low HP, and it can quickly be brought down once you can mitigate the problems of its "overflow" attack.
If you have the Kitten Fort summon, the battle becomes significantly less of a headache; cast it on the first turn to kill the Glitch's two minions, damage the boss, and apply a five-turn Morale status to all of your characters. With the Morale status up, you only need to worry about keeping everyone's HP over 50% (such as by summoning Slime Bunny or casting Heal/Refresh/Medipack) while you keep wearing down The Glitch and slaying its minions. This strategy also turns The Glitch's constantly-spawned minions into something of an asset, as they each give 25 SP (only 3 SP before Battle Mountain update) when killed, effectively regenerating your SP meter by fifty points per turn (so in two turns you receive enough SP to cast both Kitten Fort and Slime Bunny while they last for five turns).

TPF Trans does fit this "boss" (so easily cheesed) very well though.
6:30 that was pointless. Glitch has not only infinite damage, but also infinite accuracy, so it can bypass player evade.
The Captains Outfit on lance is definitely a terrible idea, because it heals the boss. A lot.

My tactic was to start off the battle with non elemental 2 limit breaks, and one kitty fort. The rest of the battle i spammed triple saw, legend, more forts, and heal. An overly easy battle if you keep moral and hp up.
This boss is pretty easy in any build where the little glitches give 25SP each.
just let you know i taking my time also characters say something getting kill by the Glitch

@@sazplaysss7047 Beginning of the vid, Natalie explains it. But, you have to keep a set of switches on, which are listed on the wall, then turn off the rest. So II, III, IV, IX, and V must be on, the rest must be off. Switches have labels on them.

Well it's practically easiest foe. cast auto revive on nat first turn then keep reviving or renewing the auto revive easy kill.
It's basically a puzzle boss. Once you figure out that it only has the one instakill attack, coupled with its vulnerability to non-elemental attacks, it's impossible to lose if you have the correct strategy.
If you replay the game, the two side Glitches don't die in one hit anymore. That's where the fun begins.

I used the charged attack with Lance's gun. The gun has to have no element so it would do damage. LOL it was ez. (except when the glitch dodges the attack, that's when I rage).
Then again, that's why Lock On exists.

you made your life way harder than it had to be in this fight. you could have put autorevive and regen on nat and gave her equipment that boosted star shower and then just spammed it, and the smaller ones would have to respawn and not have a turn each round

Yeah, it was pretty easy. Just keep morale up consistently, equip only non-elemental weapons, and make sure you have specific clothes that don't summon elemental assistance, as it heals the glitch.

I defeated the glitch by using normal attacks with no any elements
I fought the glitch after I beat the game. I found it really underwhelming.

You have to enter the factory from Godcat's Temple (the final area in the game). That's where lever X is.
The glitch is easy, i get to the glitch before the jungle with a glitch, The glitch is an easy boss, Natalie died at The final of Battle, but it's easy

+Adam Joaquim But the thing is, your forgeting the massive attack debuff it applies, unless you have a turn where you can have Matt use Temper to bring Lance's attack right up, you'll have to spam Hyper Beam for a bit, and that takes two turns to charge, leaving you open for a 1-shot from the glitch ;p

not really... he is just a suicidal glitch... hit it with non elemental normal/area attacks ... regular non elemental weps should make it faster... defeated that thing on hard mode(i dont like getting all super hard on games) in split seconds
You don't need end game items but you just need lots of coffee, high defense gear and non-elemental weapons and make sure to unequip flairs that summon allies that attack or replace status effects
Kang Wang actually, just some coffee and non elemental weps are enough no need for defense becuase it will litterally kill you in one shot... but the tiny glitches are weak put a non elemental sword on matt,non elemental wep on lance or natalie and use swift slash to butcher the two tiny glitches then just attack the boss with another characther equipped with non elemental wep(using unload with chainsaw gun for lance makes it die TOO fast even in epic...)

Let's be honest, it's the easiest boss in the game.
EBF5's Glitch got the same treatment. That thing runs a cheese factory at this point.
The Glitch is easy. I beat him on my first try in 2 turns without any buffs.
You could have beaten this so quick. All you had to do was buff matts attack and accuracy and you could have used cleaver to almost one shot it

I went in thinking I would have to use a bunch of revives, but nope. 1 turn win. Granted I was on normal, and I fought it literally RIGHT BEFORE Godcat, but still, it was underwhelming
