Swanley T is an example of why teams can’t get officials. Just gives the Lino absolute abuse over nothing. An old fella taking up his Sunday to give people games and Swanley just gives him pure abuse. I know he’ll say it’s ‘banter’ but I’m sure the Lino doesn’t feel like that. Just a horrible person.
Since day 1 he has been that guy.
Needs to give his head a shake, only speaks that way because he knows the crew will back him up for some reason.

Exactly. I rate the dons highly, but they going round thinking they can do what they want. They can’t abide by the simplest rules. They still got that road man ‘I can do what I want’ attitude.

Watched these videos for years and always been a fan but almost all of your players have played at a decent enough standard to respect officials and allow them to do their jobs, most leagues around the country will have a rope barrier to keep spectators back, I think you lot should start doing the same

I once rsn the line on an SE Dond games at Ilkeston where they were constantly on the touchline despite me constantly asking them to move back.
There is only so much asking you can do before you end up running into someone.

"Have some manners" as 6 guys stand on/over the touchline, in the way of a lino in his 50/60's just trying to do his job and get out the house on the weekend. You know there would be footage of the lino asking them to move away from the line, which they do not show. But then want to make a deal out of the lino proving his point that he can't do his job properly with them in the way and gently bumping into them.
Imagine how Andrew would feel if a group of kids in their 30's was disrespecting his Dad just trying to do his job that he does for leisure

In answer to your question at 15:00 a goal direct from a throw in is a goal kick, a direct free kick is awarded by a foul via push. What did the referee give? Based on the very brief glimpse of his arms signals it appears to be a foul for a push.

Simple solution to the linesman “beef”.
Stick a respect barrier up that is a few feet from the pitch. Allows the Lino to run the line unimpeded and also stops the pitch invasions.
Would be a very simple way of showing that the officials are respected and leave the pitch just to the players and officials.
