I was told by the Veterans Administration hospital in Las Vegas that if I have a child by my Filipina and I want to claim that child I must have a DNA test as proof. So my Filipina already knows I won’t sign the birth certificate until that DNA is done saying that I am 100% the father. If for some reason I am not well good luck to her and that child.
If a guy doesn't want to have kids but doesn't want to use protection then he needs to get vasectomy.
It is not up to the Filipina to use the father's last name if they are not married. The foreigner father has to consent to that and fill out two affidavits.. one saying they are the father and the second allowing permission to use the foreigner's last name. That is the first step (if not married) to get the child dual citizenship. Second step is paternity test and appointment at the foreigner's embassy. Then all documents need to be gathered and taken to the embassy. This is, of course, if the foreigner trusts and already knows the child is his. If not, the first step for the foreigner's protection is a paternity test. I know all of this firsthand from experience.
This guy needs to wait till the child is born and do a DNA test then go from there. Also I can't take him serious if he's doesn't want kids or marriage, and then does literally the only thing on earth you can do to have a kid unprotected lol.
I got baby-trapped. However, I accept my responsibilities so I have simply had to live with it. I have no emotional relationship with the mother, merely an economic one.

A DNA test. is required not to prove your not the father but to prove you are. For Social Security, even if you are not old enough to collect it. It is insurance, for your child if you were to die before child turns 18. Also for your child to be a US citizen.
The proof works both ways, depending on context.
My situation is my filipina can have children but the risk is too high in which her last child who is now 7, was a difficult birth. Doctor said another child could risk her life. I want to have a child because I don't have a legacy to continue after I'm gone. My dilemma is she is everything im looking for and her having 2 children is not an issue. Her husband passed away 2 years ago.
When I met my fiancé, we discussed kids during our LDR for 1.5 years before we met in person. She has kids and told she would like to have one with me. But, I had TURP surgery several years ago which made it difficult to have kids. She is accepting of this.

Need to have a test to make sure it’s his for whatever country he is from USA Canada UK. That’s the way to go about it and insist that has to be done before giving ID or signing any papers.
Then from her response and actions, probably will give you some insight into if it’s really yours not.
I have a more conservative, and simple life. Find a traditional loving woman who knows it's better to wait and plan and then live happily ever after together. Plenty of them available outside of Angeles 😅
There are pre-birth paternity tests as well--they are more expensive obviously, but $500 spent before birth could save the guilt of supporting the entire birth process for a child that isn't yours. I believe all they need is blood sample, no procedure.

🇺🇸 in the beginning of the relationship, a subject of children and babies should’ve been discussed. if yes, person didn’t want to bring a baby into the world before having intimate relationship with a woman, he should’ve got a vasectomy and been upfront about this. Is it not also possibly financially devastating in the Philippines as their laws indicate a 50/50 split of all assets in the marriage? In the U.S. this is not always true, and may vary from State to State. For instance in my State all assets owed by either party prior to marriage will still belong to them alone, only assets acquired during the marriage are up to being claimed as community property, and may come into play for judgement of distribution claims. Sounds like financial devastation might be possible in the Philippines too. What are your thoughts? I know there is no divorce in the Philippines, but Foreigners may gain divorces in their Country, it seems. How does all this pan out? Is it wise to only get married under another nation's laws, and not the Philippine legal statutes?
How do you avoid meeting the family if traditional courting involves asking the father for permission to date the daughter? Kind of leaves you with less desirable women or older women.
Gio the Embassy only requires the paternity test if the child is born outside of marriage. If born in a marriage you just have to demonstrate your (father's) presence in the Philippines during the time of conception. If born out of wedlock the process requires the paternity test before you can apply.
I would get a dna/paternity test, in a western country not in the Philippines.

I commend the guy for willing to accept responsibility for supporting the child if it's his. There are too many irresponsible baby daddies out there abandoning their children. I would suggest a paternity test to settle any doubts so he can move forward. I can't blame him about refusing to marry regardless of the paternity results.

I'm planning to have kids in SE Asia. Never had kids in the US due to expense and divorce laws. Many advantages to having kids in SE Asia. However I'm not planning to marry or even live with a woman full time. I'll have my own place and stay with a woman and my kids for as long as it's enjoyable. When the eye rolls and tampo starts "see you in a few weeks". DNA test always. I'll set some rules like $400/mo support as long as only my kids are in the home. She wants to have kids with other men, live-in boyfriend the cash stops and my kids can come live with me. I can afford a live-in housekeeper, nanny. I may have more than 1 baby momma.

Many men, especially retired men, will have themselves fixed before they leave their country. Having children in your later years is not fair to yourself or the child. There is nothing wrong with being upfront, especially if you are in an established relationship, but in the beginning, you can keep that to yourself. Make sure that you have a copy of your medical records in your personal files so that if she does end up pregnant, then you can show proof. Many men do have children, and then if something happens to them, then the survivors' benefits will kick in . Remember, it's your retirement and your money, so do what you see fit and remember that there are no guarantees in life.

From Canada-my experience is philippinos can not handle success that money can bring for them but her parents can and of course all her friends become financial experts that brings a lot of unnecessary trouble to deal with in a relationship don't marry with out a pre-nup or co habatate with out one. they don't care if you lose every thing( I have not) . what about now the Philippines family code section;195 !?
