Your channel is so underrated. I like that you're unbiased but also arent afraid to have opinions. I certainly agree that Gateway is a "meh" intermediate but at least there were varying pit strategies which kept it entertaining. My biggest gripe is that Fox has no idea what to call the track. I heard it referred to as Illinois, St. louis, Gateway, and World Wide Technology Raceway. Like my gosh just call it ONE name.
After Fox’s coverage today, is there any doubt of what I said last week, that the Coke 600 was called early because Fox didn’t want the expenses of another day of coverage?

I'm fairly certain it was a protein bar that Ryan was eating. Before they interviewed him, Fox had that split screen and he was going to town on something with a wrapper.
Indeed, FOX's production has tanked.
A similar thing happened in the truck race at Charlotte: the 'race analysis' shown before going green, listed the total laps & stage lengths from North Wilkesboro (including the 2023 winner Larson) which tripped up Phil Parsons.
And now it happens again with the ticker showing drivers from the last race.

I don't think it was chewing tobacco, I think it was food. Perhaps a protein or something. Drivers were commenting on how hot it was.
The FOX coverage was weak. The announcers would be describing something and were seeing 2 other cars or fans in the stands. Pretty poor job by FOX. But I don't put much stock into NASCAR coverage these days.

this should REALLY wake up rick ware to how bad cody is as a driver.cody being his usual self,causing the first cautions, while haley finishes 9th.rick is probably seeing he lost many hundreds of thousands in finishing $ by keeping cody in the car so long instead of hiring a real driver.maybe he should limit cody to the mazda mx5 series.

How is that a fluke win? He was top 5 all day and led 53 laps. Blaney only passed him by short pitting him. Cindric drove an excellent race and put himself in position to win.
