The annoying thing is that sheevah can be so good without that but they choose to be scrubs and spam it

the fact that even a pro player struggles to counter this shit just makes me want it banned or changed. sheeva's stomp is just pathetic.
Koisy isn’t a pro i don’t think. If you watch pros play against sheeva spammers they don’t struggle. I would doubt koisy would’ve struggled this much if it wasn’t for the lag honestly. It’s more the lags fault than the fact that she’s spamming.
They did stupid design like this in MKX with full auto jaqui just mind numbing dumb design.
The lag made it hard to deal with

Yeah Goro stomp was less problematic because MK X were more faster than MK 11. They seriously need to fix this, even pro players had strong issue to stop it

Actual the stomp is really easy to counter, when she jumps and the screen moves, just uppercut. That simple.
@@Unchainedful no, it’s not. She can delay damn near forever and you have to guess when. Even if you do uppercut it, it usually hits both players.

Quick tip: everytime I encountered THIS type of sheevas I just booty out of there
Its_Alex Lol As Kitana you can also Upward Fan Toss or stance teleport her while she's in the air. Additionally Upward Fan Toss let you follow up for more dmg
Spawn is my best bet, I dodge it & get a max combo on her ass every time & usually win

Its been a bad kombat league season for me because of sheevas. They spam stop and grab thats all they do.
I’ve noticed there is a lot of toxic Sheeva’s popping up this season. Sometimes I wonder if these people are just a society of toxic people just changing it up each season on who they should go next to be toxic🤣that would make me laugh to see.

@@JoshSmith-zb1bo well we gotta have a character to beat Jaqui or else she’s unstoppable this meta🤷♂️jk jk they need to nerf the stomp so that it takes longer to recover and maybe even take some of her moves out of tournament. It’s obvious to anyone that some of her moves aren’t used in strategy but as a crutch.
They need to nerf the stomp, and the directional/delay stomp needs to be two slots. Yes you can avoid it and yes you can win, but no character should have a move that is that easy to exploit. It makes online play toxic and it ruins the reputation of a character that is so well designed otherwise.
Haha, I only just discovered this video! And I only just started to play online and instantly got bullied with that Sheeva stomp and having no idea what to do. When sheeva jumps as soon as the vamera moves dubble tap back no way she can get u
pro-tip the way you know when sheva stomp is close is when the camera pans toward you. Once you time it well enough and you see the camera pan towards you, do an anti-air move with whatever character has the moveset or quickly walk away or forward and Sheeva will miss... Then Punish with several grabs and combos combined. Hope this helps.
