Nanxiang Day Trip From Shanghai | China Episode 11

Nanxiang is only a short day trip from Shanghai. We wanted to visit here as Nanxiang is meant to be the birthplace of Xiao Long Bao and wanted to taste the original Nanxiang Steamed Buns for ourselves. Our favourite parts of our day were Guyi garden, one of Shanghai's most important classical Chinese gardens. The Bonsai garden in particular was stunning. We also loved exploring Nanxiang Ancient Water Town. Here we walked through the streets seeing food at every turn, visited Tan Garden, Buddhist Twin Pagodas and Yunxiang Temple (Liuyun Temple) only from the outside as we got there after it had closed.

Aw, bummer guys... I read the description and I was waiting to watch you destroy some XLBs whole without chewing. I felt as disappointed as you did. Still, they couldn't have been worse than the frozen ones most of us are forced to buy and eat at home because of this pandemic, right?

Hi, yes we were disappointed with the XLB's in Nanxiang but the amazing ones we had in Shanghai definitely made up for it :) Hope you still enjoyed the video.
