Only read in history and geography textbooks about Malacca's pivotal status in the region long time ago. Now, through your lenses and detailed introduction, local customs and traditions are more vivid and understandable. What a wonderful joy ride!

@TalesFromOurPocket hi, I am inspired by your travel videos and you share your travel experiences uniquely. I would like to know how you research and plan your travel.
Say in Alishan Taiwan, how do you know how many days to stay in Alishan and where to go, what to see, etc.
How do you incorporate that Alishan travel to your whole Taiwan trip.
      Thank you. I appreciate you.

Malaysia is hot but Melaka is even hotter than most other cities in Malaysia. 😅. I prefer doing my walks during night time whenever I go to Melaka and the boat ride during night time is much2 better than evening. You have lots beautiful lights during the night. Anyway since you guys are moving from the South to the North. I hope after Kuala Lumpur you might consider stopping at Ipoh for 1-2 days before you travel to Penang or Langkawi (Which im guessing when you 2 are heading after KL). It's my home town and I have to say that for decades the city has been stagnating however recently Ipoh seems to finally start booming again. Recently there has been a huge jump in foreign tourists too, it went from 5,000 in 2019 foreign visitors to 50,000 in 2022 and this year the state government expects foreign tourists to reach 250,000. You can feel the city center is finally getting some life again. It also has many beautiful limestone hills too. Worth the visit in my opinion.

We Malaysians don't walk in the middle of the day because it's so hot. That's why you see that the streets are quite quiet during the day. We will start going outside in the evening.
