YES MAN! I AGREE!!!! the freedom that the two new guitarists are given to "fill in" the intervals of the sound really cuts away from their older stoner doom bluesy vibe... Its too complex and not really dancable unless you know every change and transition in the song.. Which is why The blues is so important to music, all rhythm, timing with the soul... IT really bums me out to see em like this... John Hoyles with Spiders is fuckin awesome...
I do love the new album, and it took several listens to be sold on the different sound. I just think of them as a new band of talented hired hands lucky enough to be with Magnus (Writer/Vocalist) and Ola (Bass). It would appear the "old" Witchcraft sound is gone and old fans can take it or leave it I guess. Either way, I still insist you gotta drop one of the guitarists and get Magnus back behind his guitar and proceed...Six months later and my opinion stays the same on that!
I can't believe they were playing for two dozen people! What the hell? Mr. Whitepants has a great voice as usual, but what's with the weirdo dancing? No wonder he's not gathering a crowd :) All the people were there for the Orange amps, I bet.
are you referring to Stryper being a bad live band? They are the best period, seen them live ones and I fell in love even harder, and no, I DO NOT BELIEVE IN ANY RELIGION! Still the best band to ever walk this earth... I did take some time to fall for them, so I see that not many love them as I do...
I've seen them 3 times, have all their music, like this album, but Magnus needs to be back behind a guitar....It's way too awkward to watch the weird moves and he just needs to get back to what's comfortable and right! The experiment is over...they are way cooler as a 4-piece. I'll listen to the album, but can't watch any more live clips....
the awkward dancing and the white pants need to go. Legend is a pretty sick album, and the original three witchcraft albums are classic, but this makes them seem rather lame.
Y'know if I'm ever feeling glum I can always see this video and have a laugh at Magnus' Dad Dancing.

The hives was the main band that day and this was 5 hours before their show ! that's why the crowd is "lame " .

No problem with Stryper besides their music...don't like it. They maybe a great live band...I've had some bands surprise me.
