Love the boss fight. I’m currently working on my own mmorpg command world filled with lots of things. You have been my go to guy for refreshing my command block knowledge as well as teaching me about scoreboards as I never fully understood them.
I would love to see how you would be put together a stationary mechanical boss. I.e a giant golem, dragon or some type of creature. I have my ideas in head but would love to see hope they clash with yours if you do take in this idea.

One thing that I changed when making my own boss is that instead of summoning the Skeleton and using a Replaceitem command to give it armor, I prefer to summon a Skeleton with a Structure command, so I can have the skeleton with a armor with armor trims so it looks more like a boss
Just give a skeleton a set of armor with trims and save it with a structure block to load it later

Hey man, I’m currently making a 1:1 replica of the tomb of Nazarick and I am currently trying to make unique boss fights. One example is shalteir blood fallen. A vampire with life steal, teleportation, necromancy etc. the problem I’m facing right now is my ambitions and expectations are extremely high. I’m wanting to make this boss fight actually feel like a boss. I’m thinking about adding (don’t know how too) a cut scene. I’m thinking it’ll start once the players hit a specific set of coordinates. And I’m trying to add multiple phases to this boss. Along with multiple other ones. With that in mind I was wondering if you could make a vid ab it. If not I completely understand. I probably won’t make exactly that, but I do want to make more different boss fights in the future, so you could probably mix and match some of the other boss fights I make to match your own needs

You could also pair the bolt attack with bats, allays, or vexes to make floating attack drones

Im probably gonna use this, as im making a mage bossfight based on the Deep Dark and souls. The way you damage the guy will be reversed, as i want the second phase to hover in place and summon minions.

how do i do the scoreboard thing that is on the top
Hey so on my world I have a lot of armor stands used for randomizer systems and I think this is what's causing a lot of lag. I was wondering if you have an idea of an alternate way to randomize stuff to limit the amount of armor stands I'm using.
Not sure what things you are trying to randomize, but scoreboards can be used for randomization and spreadplayers can be used to randomize the locations of things
then use scoreboard random for players. Like if you want Player A random a Gift box with 80% is dirt and 20% is diamond. Scoreboard players random "Player A" giftbox 1 100. Execute as @a[scores={giftbox=1..}] at @s if entity @s[giftbox=1..80}] run structure load / give @s dirt - same as diamond: 81..100.
And you can just need one armor stand Random for example: Crate. Spreadplayers @e[type=armor_stand,tag=cratecommon]

So when I try to activate the boss by throwing the diamond nothing happens, the count goes past 10 and no particles appear, I have the scoreboard blocks activated not sure what I missed tbh help would be appreciated
Check your command blocks. Maybe you don't know that chain command blocks work with "always active", i said maybe.

You could try spawning a NPC using the /give command to get its spawn egg. Then name it and make it invisible

i just dont get scoreboards. If i wanted to make bosses like yours, how do i know when scoreboards will be necessary?
I would recommend checking out my in depth tutorials on the scoreboard commands to help you get a better idea
@@Guppyduck oh ok. Also, what does it mean when a command block says “unable to summon object” when doing a summon command? I mean, i get what that means, but its stupid how there is no specification. I have this long line of chain command blocks summoning zombies in rows of 5 at certain locations around a village. It wont summon the next row, with the unable to summon object output. There’s 0 obstructions to the zombie spawns, idk what its problem is
@@skeleton819 I think that usually means you are trying to summon a hostile mob on peaceful mode, chevalier your game difficulty

If you didn’t know you can actually make a health bar using a wither
Yes, but the damage won’t transfer over
The damage can be transferred but it can only go in set amounts of how much damage you want done on the wither per hit
@@GuppyduckAlso you can make the boss invisible and kill it when wither skeletons are detected but right before it’s killed you tp the 2nd phase version to it so it looks like it’s transforming
@@PaperJake- that’s my point, it won’t properly scale with gear which is an issue

Hey I'm trying to make a geomancer boss you know the guy from Minecraft dungeons that summons pillars but sometimes randomly TNT as well I'm not sure how to summon the TNT or the pillars I could really use your help plz
