Okk so I'm done watching it and I must say this is a real life story like is not some fictional something. Joke never prayed for her husband and the mum prayed last minute no intercessor. No one stood in the gap and she never allowed herself to be interceded for by her friend. And is like that's how life is. Father I pray for myself and all singles here that we will have a discernment spirit will WILL HEED TO WHATEVER THE SPIRIT SAYS TO US. Remember Joke had the feeling even on the eve of her wedding but made the flesh took over. Mama Pedro thank you . this is the second time watching your movie and I must say this is the best of the best... I will stop today and continue tomorrow😹😹😹😹😹.God bless your ministry

Wrong marriage is destiny altered and indeed two chasing shadows
This almost resemble my experience in my just ended courtship. I thank God I did not die. Infact now I am abundantly grateful to God for not allowing the courtship to mature into marriage. In my own case, the guy broke up with me sharply and suddenly! I cried because I loved him but now I am 100% convinced that the breakup was indeed God's deliverance. Thank you Jesus.
Singles know God for yourself... Even if the shepherd speak in flesh you will know how to navigate yourself.
Very touching story. No godly man will make his wife leave her job so he can control her. Leaving your job because your husband says so (not because you want to) is not submission. Even our LORD would not want us to neglect what we've worked hard for, He wants us to long enjoy the work of our hands (Isaiah 55:22), He wants the work of our hands to prosper even as our soul prospers (3 john 1:2), He wants us to have to the things that pertain to life (including financial independence) and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). As much as our LORD hates divorce, He does not want any woman to die because of "I want to keep my marriage." If a marriage threatens your life, purpose or sanity, you can separate from such spouse and remain single. Separation in the scope of the Word is a separation with reconciliation in view (1 Corinthians 7: 10 &11). You can reconcile with the spouse when they get back to their senses.

This is not an ordinary film, what we have seen in our short years of counseling, is too shocking. I beg singles, parents and pastors to take note, NEVER to let sentiments block our spiritual sight. Many are suffering and smiling!!! Two chasing shadows instead of 10,000. A word is enough for the wise. Its better to remain single than to be in a hell on earth. This is deep......thank God Christian films are now showing the reality, enough of the assumption that mercy will just completely look away, bible says the wages of sin is death, there are times even Thou God has heard the prayer of mercy but you may still have to suffer the consequences.May God just help us not to make some fatal mistakes that one will have to live with for the rest of his /her life.

Praise and remain prayerful. So many people are in this situation all because of pressure. When you get married, you don’t go into the marriage with the one who even pressured you. Stay the course with the Lord. Don’t become far amiss. Seek the Lord and rejoice in the season that you are in. God is never later but always on time. This massage actually tells me to just wait on God. Sometimes some teaching from some men of God cause great damages to we the members.😭😭😭 They preach or teach some things that can cause you to make the wrong decision that can cost your life.
That's why we all need to be close to the Bible and the Holy Spirit and check every word we hear. Sometimes the preacher is not even out to mislead but just honestly misses it.

Another red flag is how she was received the first time he introduced her to his mum: he was very categorical that he was marrying Joke for her (his mum) mums like it when their spoilt sons find a good woman, they will pamper you so you can stay and babysit their spoiled sons.

Thank you very much for this movie. It's a real eye opener. Alot of women are already facing this issue in their marriages but sadly there are not much gospel movies or messages that talk to such women about what they should do or where to draw the line and separate. While it is good to focus on their mistakes for other singles to learn, I feel it is also good to focus on such women too because some don't know what to do and they can't speak up for several reasons.
We also live in a society where women are stigmatized and judged for leaving their marriages even if temporarily, not minding the danger they are exposed to and so women continue to die in silence.
I personally believe that actions have consequences like this movie has pointed out but just because you make a mistake doesn't mean you should let it bury you like Sis Joke did.
Nevertheless prevention is better than cure. May the Lord help us. God bless you Sis Pedro, I really wish this movie will open opportunities for discussion with the "Jokes" all across the country and beyond.
