My advise to anyone who wants to get a professional job in UK is that you can stay anywhere for the main time and apply for jobs in all locations, don't limit your search to specific location if not it will be very very difficult to get a good professional job in UK.

I got accepted by Univ of Hull and Plymouth, am opting for hull. whats the job markets around there and the environment for foreigners. esp east african students.

What of Derby?
Derby is a great place to study but include places like Alfreton, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Chesterfield, and Utoxetter when looking for student jobs. I advise you to consider Mansfield if the job search gets tougher. Alfreton and Chesterfield are in Derbyshire.
You can live in any of these cities and commute to Derby if you have lectures two days a week.

Glasgow is one of the finest places to get jobs in Scotland. You might also consider moving to Newcastle/Leeds after your programme.
Edinburgh is also a good place to look for jobs and it is closer to Glasgow

@@elijahokpako5379 Local job Centre. Every town and city has one. Also something called pertemps can get you a part time job. Try to find hiring agencies in your local area instead of using online sites.
Your key word is PROFFESIONAL.
Like I have told everybody before. You can go to the job center and jump into any part time job! These students keep being too picky and do not want to take anything. Also students cannot work full time anyway. So a part time job is the only thing you can do. This video is utter rubbish and and very unhelpful. Guys get yourself to the local job center and put your name down. You can get a part time job easily and following the laws as a student.

This is not through at all. I stay in Hull and was unable to get a job when I was a student. I literally went to different places to search for jobs but couldn't get one and lots of people in my situation currently. Thank God I graduated and was able to finally get full time job.
The jobs that are mostly scarce are part time jobs not full time jobs FYI
