Yes! The video we've all been waiting for! I have so many flags that sometimes I don't even iron them, I'm just going to put them back in the Tote. I'd love to hear more about the temperature settings you used. Sometimes I just crank mine up to high and quickly do it, or I use a sheet to iron over the flag for minimal damage.
Right on! Yeah I've even updated my methods slightly since this, I may need to do an updated version. In any case I'm glad people are getting something out of it!
Honestly what I do with some of the screen printed ones now is put it on the lowest steam setting and put a tea towel between iron and flag. Works pretty well, steams it, and no color transfer.
Very useful and helpful video, but the thing about ironing pride flags is kind of a half-truth. Most pride flags are not ironed simply because young people don't have access to irons, people have said that the creases represent closeted members of the community, or intersex people, but the reality is that most people just don't take care of their pride flags properly as the flags are cheap and the people who own them don't have access or know how to use an iron. Personally I consider it disrespectful not to iron a flag, it's a way of showing how much you care about it, and all flags have to be ironed for official display. I always iron my pride flag, as well as every other flag I own.

@@flagged4content hell yea! This is useful
Tried with polyester
Fairly hot iron + slow and pushing, no steam
Worked fine
Just don't stay too much 😆
Yeah I'd love to redo this video at some point but I'd be lying if I said it was top priority 😬

My mother suggested me to use a regular towel instead, she LOVES to steam! XD
Honestly, I love this video on so many levels that I’ve watched it a number of times already.
It truly is a masterpiece!
Hahaha I'm glad you liked it. I didn't get a ton of engagement on this one originally but let's see how it fares here 🙂
Be sure have cat next time!🐱
