Crystal Lake. When they drop this kind of easy to listen, kinda lighter song, they release REALLY heavy ones with it.

I got to see them in St. Louis during the fit for a king tour and it was the last date before they got sent home because of Covid. Their stage presence is unmatched, Ryo climbed into the crowd and then the balcony😂

Both live and on album, Crystal Lake is much more experienced and advanced. Love Polaris tho. Weird comparison tho.

Jafeth Vermeij I’m not trying to compare them nor their career/experience. All I’m saying is that they sound somewhat similar melodically/instrumentally in some songs or parts of their songs. Either the vocals or instrumentals give me a Polaris vibe. That’s how I found them anyway. I’ve been listening to Polaris for a long time way before Crystal Lake. If I would’ve found Crystal Lake first I probably would’ve said “Polaris is like an Australian Crystal Lake/they give me a Crystal Lake vibe” instead.

My girlfriend and I saw Crystal Lake in Des Moines. They opened up for August Burns Red for their "Dangerous" tour. Crystal Lake is absolutely good enough to be the main show. Their drummer is the Tom Brady of drumming.
Totally agree with them being the Japanese Polaris in my brain also!

I watched crystal lake on the same bill as August Burns Red Fit for a Kind and Miss May I in a super small club in Asheville NC. One of the sickest shows I’ve ever seen.
