I brought my wife & 2 teenage children to VN this past July and spent 2 days 1 night in Ha Long Bay as well and we were just blown away by how beautiful it is. The ferry ride to the main cruise ship built up our excitement as we began to see the islets up close, the cruise ship amenities/rooms were really nice, especially our rooms with balcony. I caught my kids sitting in the balcony stared out into the bay for 10 minutes just enjoying Mother Nature's best work. The food was so plentiful and was so delicious and fresh too. The VN people we met and the crew were so nice, really anxious to answer our questions/queries. The cost of everything was quite cheap too. We're already talking about going back there next year.

Definitely there was something wrong with that cruise company . Most of the 2d/1n tours in HL bay offer at least 3 activities : kayaking , cave visit , peak view and swimming on TiTop island or pearl farm visit . Did you do any research before booking

@@tyandsoph My last trip to HL bay was in 2011 , so I think everything has changed since then . I did not stay overnight on boat , but on Cat Ba Island

Your experience looked amazing! Would you recommend this for young kids? We are planning a trip to Hanoi and would like to do this cruise, but we are not sure how kid friendly it would be.
Hi! Thanks for watching!🙏 it was kid friendly for sure, if there at the age where they can Kayak and swim in the sea I think they would enjoy that! But to be honest there isn’t children’s entertainment on this ship, we would say it’s more aimed for adults! Might be worth googling to see if any of the companies specify actives for children? There lots of companies were sure there must be one! Good luck & enjoy your trip!

The price you paid for was very very cheap. Many CZcamsrs paid more than this for 2 Days 1 Night Cruise.
What was the name of the company?
I might be wrong but it looks as if you did the Lan Ha bay tour not the full Ha Long bay. Both start at Ha Long port. I didn't see any stops at tiptop island or the large caves. The ha long tour usually always sails via these places. La Han is much quieter. What tour did you book, cheers

It is Ti Top Island. Tip means landfills. According to Google Map, Ti Top Island & Hang Sung Sot are within the lines of Lan Ha Bay. Cat Ba is also part of the World Heritage Area.

Hello Ty & Soph my friend try to visit beautiful places in the Philippines , explore Boracay Beach in Malay, Aklan, it is claimed to be the best beach of the world. (Check it out in CZcams) There is a direct daily flight from Manila, Cebu going to Caticlan Airport in Boracay Islands.
BEST THING TO DO IN BORACAY ISLANDS.
1. Island Hopping in Boracay Islands, it is full of white sandy beaches, blue indigo waters and dreamy sunsets. Known to be unexploited paradise. The stops often includes the beaches of Lapus-lapus, Ilig-iligan, Crocodile Island & Magic Island.
2. Visit Puka Shell Beach in Boracay, it is located in Yapak, Malay, Aklan, tricycles and boats going to Puka Shell Beach can be hired from White Beach.
3. Ariel's Point is the most popular for the 15 meters high diving boards where adventure junkies can leaf off to the clear waters below. It is located in Batason, Buruanga, Aklan,purchase a ticket from Ariel's house in Station 1 where the boat leaves to Ariel point.
4. Explore Mount Luho, is the highest point of the Islands, rising 100 meters above sea level. Tricycles from any stations can be hired to take you to the Mount Luho entrance.
