Isn’t partsch 2 operation mean enucleation with primary closure according to SM Balaji textbook?? I’m a bit confused here sir. You have mentioned that waldrons procedure is partsch 2 24:38
its a combination of marsupialization and enucleation...so initially you can avoid all the disadvantages of enucleation by performing marsupialization ...and later you can enucleate the cyst to avoid disadvantages of marsupialization
if we fail to keep it open then again intracystic pressure may increase and cyst growth occurs because we are not removing entire cyst lining..initially we may use gutta percha to decrease irritation to the healing tissues
