I am looking for some help. I have been thinking about buying a fantom 8 for years now , . Would you recommend it. I am at the point of hair pulling. Do I or dont I . The price is right at the moment . Or is it to much for me to handle . Am I going for the top just because I can. Sorry for the rant but just need a we bit of celtic help
I’m a big fan of the Fantom and it’s my favourite board for functions, sound and keybed action. But yes, there’s a lot to it - you need to understand or at least be able tweak multiple types of sound engines, then clip based sequencing needs to be learned - and sampling too. But you don’t need to use all of these things of course - depends on what music you want to create. I’d say go for it!
@@TheSynthAcademy. I have been looking into this for years . I pushed the idea away when tey were asking 3500 plus but at mo its 3069 and an 9 months interest free , being a canny scot I .I said its time, last question , an instrument is as good as the speakers it uses . What do you use .
@@markbon5146I use a pair of KRK Rokit 5s. Remember to ask the dealer about the EX upgrade if it's included or not. Either way prepare to find out what time travel is... time will fly by when are creating with the Fantom!
Nothing received from Roland yet regarding existing n/zyme users.
I sent them an email asking for the ABC SH101 expansion and the possible discount for early buyers of the n/Zyme extension, but they only answered the first one saying that the ABC SH101 extension will be released in December, so I assume we'll get no special offer.
