From the humble beginnings of a stage artist, he pursued the burning desire to act in movies just like his predecessors. His unique modulation and majestic appearance soon captivated the audience and also his counterpart, MGR. Both of them acted in some of the most remarkable films in Tamil cinema giving the audience spellbinding performances. P S Veerappa was also a successful producer who made films with his close friends and associates MGR and Sivaji. A man of exceptional skills, he will always be remembered for his inimitable and devilish laugh that sure does send a chill down the spine!

He did a great mistake I e. he went to bollywood to produce films. His hindi films were failure. Not only P S V but also.Sridhar and Devar went to bollywood.they met heavy loss.

Why O.A.K.Devar's image is being displayed?!!! Another blunder...it's Sree Murugan and not only Murugan! P.S.Veerappa's debut movie as a producer was "Pillaikkani Amuthu" with S.S.Rajendhiran and E.V.Saroja in the lead roles! "Gangga Jamuna" was produced by P.S.Veerappa as "Iru Thuruvam" in 1971 with Sivaji Ganesan and Padmini pair in the lead! Unfortunately the movie turned out to be a flop! Why important facts had been neglected?!!! Don't beat around the bush having only few messages! Need to do more researchs and news gatherings! Pls pay more attention and be cautious while delivering such matters of the yesteryear!

@@nramesh44 "Alayamani","Anandha Jothi","Yaar Nee" and "Ponnu Mappillai" were all hits! "Aadmi" Hindi version of "Aalyamani" turned out to be a disaster followed by "Iru Dhuruvam" which too placed Veerappa in an unpleasant condition financial wise! There's another movie by the title "Mayilaadum Paarai"(Ravichandran and Rajsree) which Veerppa started to produce in 1968 and was released in 1978 with the title changed as "Nalliravu Mani 12.00" That too bombed at the box office! Later in the 80's he had produced a couple of movies! A controversial subject "Thisaimaariya Paravai" is one among them!
Anandha Jyothi not a hit picture, Its a flop movie. After that Veerappa produced Aandavan kattalai with Nadigarthilagam Sivaji paired with Devika. It was a super hit movie. Iru Dhuruvam ran maximum of 75 days in Tamilnadu, but its not a loss for P S Veerappa and he recovered what he invested on the movie.. After 1980, he produced movies with Vijayakanth, Murali, etc., that all movies not a success.
