The challenge in Uganda is dely in service delivery.... Imagine upto now we dont have architectural plans for the stadiums... Even using less experienced contractors is another challenge

We also need the standard gauge railway to enable movement during AFCON but it is just delaying
But why divert Buhinga stadium ,every process was done we were only waiting for the contactor.i don't see other regions hosting AFCON better than fort portal the airport issue was not critical.

Uganda lacks in professional planning in everything, unfortunately.
However so far on the building of the hydro power stations, Uganda has been topping the region because of the Nile.
Although Tanzania threatens this lead with the 2115 Megawatts Nyerere hydro dam.
However Uganda is conturing to build a Nuclear power at 14000 Megawatts !?! Wow !
Hopefully we shall soon get the architectural drawings to back this up.
But the rest like in the railways (Tanzania tops),
Airports (Kenya tops),
Express ways ( Kenya tops),
Sports ! looks like Kenya is going to lead again with Talanta stadium and many more stadiums are also planned.

But why is Hoima Stadium a 20,000 seat capacity?? Uganda has to start planning for our population growth. 20K capacity is way too small.
Preferably running away from costs because of wat comes with a 60k or 45k Seater
