I love how she walks in straight line, heads up, chest slightly forward, and the look in her face that says 'I'm a classy woman'. She's so confident and always makes her clothes look expensive. Truly a high fashion royalty. 😍
She is super composed on the runway, and her body is hypnotizing. She can breathe life into any clothing, and that's what makes a good model.

ライトEthereal wasn’t that fall 2005? Been quite a few years. Like I said designers need to use her more for her to NOT be underrated considering she’s still active and the record holder.
I don't think they know what underrated means. Vlada is definitely underrated and deserves much more recognition and success.
As much as we know that Vlada walked in all the shows, we also know that she is very underrated, she didn't do many campaigns or very big contracts like other models of her era. Obviously that doesn't take away from her value as a supermodel and her hard work in the industry, nobody is like her and we all know it. Vlada is one of my favorite supermodels of all time, and I feel that she is one of the best in the world, whether I recognize her or not.
I think the reason is she looks too much like Gemma Ward. And Gemma was huge during 2000s era.
@@levinh9294 Vlada is more beautiful though.. True Russian doll :) Even though they do have a similar look there is something really stiff about Gemma. Vlada looks softer? More feminine? And she glides like a swan on the lake when she's on that runway. She's my favourite model right now (maybe ever) She just oozes class, elegance, refinement.

Yes,her face is doll like,but not original. The doll like face is very common in Russia and Eastern Europe. Every other girl in that region is a living doll..so Gemma isn't an original. Also I would put Lily Cole above Gemma Ward and Vlada above Lily when it comes to doll like facial aesthetics.

And when I'm talking about print work, I'm talking about who's the most photogenic, who has the best poses, who's standing out in a group picture... Gemma was every photographer's muse, it's not for nothing.

Emilio Fermando didn't she have beauty contracts, parfume contracts? I mean, looking at her portfolio I mostly see runway work. Less covers , moree runways works.
but she booked some high fashion campaigns too. Hèrmes, D&G(5 times), Moschino, Nina Ricci, Swarovski, Dona Karan, Max Mara, Karl Lagerfeld campaigns... and she did vogue paris cover too and others (W, Numéro, Elle, Harper's Bazaar.). I can't believe she didn't versace campaign.. BTW vogue paris put her on the list of the best 30 models of 2000's

Thanks for this video ! What a goddess and a runway queen! I'll forever be salty that starting in 2012 her career began to significantly slow down. Anyone know if it was a personal choice or what ??? Because her face and walk is so timeless i can't see designers getting tired of her! Oh and she should have had so many more vogue covers and campaigns !! She was made for beauty campaigns come on!
She had children and decided to scale back her shows and this was right around the time that Snejana, Natasha, Gemma, Caroline Trentini, Eugenia Volodina & Coco Rocha scaled back shows too....i think it was the high fashion pressure of doing like 20 to 40 haute couture shows during haute couture week plus the insta/reality TV models taking over via making every backstage show a selfie moment...there use to be this allure and mystery to what the girls did in their private lives and social media made it more difficult for the TRUE high fashion n uber models to have some anonymity in between F/W shows and SS and haute couture week. Like the true models who love the industry/the art n the job and make it abt the designer and fashion like Vlada didn't need social media and to post at every show...it takes away from the meaning of the art of fashion in my opinion. But Vlada is back and is now a muse to the designer behind the Zimmermann collection for NYFW as well as a few other emerging NYFW designers as well as Alexis Mabille in Paris and still a fave for Versace n Ralph Lauren.

Without a doubt her best walk was the Couture 2012 for Dior by Gaytten. My god, what a walk. Even Karlie was almost outshined, it was of incomparable perfection. Her, Karlie, Tanya, Natasha and Magdalena are my absolute Big Five of the 2000s.

@@Venched On any other day she would have, but that show was one of Karlie‘s best walks ever as well. Both were just unmatched. I dare say the best catwalk work there ever was. I can‘t seem to think of anything anyone did that was more perfect in terms of technique, work and modelling skills. It was beyond everything anyone else has ever done

She is holding steady at 91+ shows in a single season......but the girls I mentioned also did like 75+ shows also in a single season. Didn't mean to argue....just think it is still neck to neck.
in a single year she stated to Vogue that she did close to 350 shows: that means Fall/Winter & Spring Summer and both Haute Couture seasons. But who knows...just saying between 2008 & 2012 Vlada, Karlie, Natasha etc were in heavy rotation.
@asava17 ikr....but inagine being one of the orignal 13supers from the late 80s to early 2000s who did twice as many a year with there being more haute couture design houses than there are today.
Like Karolina Kurkova said for the 2000-2001 season she did every show during every season....literally missed the finale walk at most shows so she could make it to the next show.

Vlada jest wybitną modelką. Jest twarz jest bardzo fotogeniczna i plastyczna. Robi karierę od lat i nie może skutecznie się wybić ani zyskać rozgłosu.
Wystarczy zmienić jej rysy twarzy makijażem i zmienić kolor włosów by za chwilę wyglądała jak ktoś inny.
Vlada wspaniale też się porusza.
