Ghana like the rest of Africa has great wealth that sadly has been stolen with a helping hand from corrupt and co-opted leaders. What LGBT agenda? Pretty sure if there was an agenda, I would know about it! What is real is the repression/oppression of gay's and lesbians by their own countrymen, which is a direct result of radical far right /white conservative "Kristians" in Amerikkka! This is a diversion from the real problems in Uganda/Ghana! And scapegoating gay's and lesbians for Ugandan/Ghana's problems ain't solving any of the real problems those people face! Pretty sure I'm not going to change your mind, you feed off of making others feel and live "less than" as if "who someone else chooses to sleep with" affects your life in any real, significant way... But the whole anti LGBT movement in Africa makes me finally realize that I am indeed thankful that my ancestor were stolen away from a place full of the same prejudices and superstitions that we face for simply being black in Amerikkka! How much more painful it would be for the senseless, completely unjustified hate to be coming from people that are my own color, being paid and manipulated by White Amerikkkan far right actors--determined to drive another wedge in between people of African descent! But pretty sure, your cheering on marginalizing the already marginalized makes perfect sense in your biased mind!

Naw, ghana just pass the bill and don’t answer on why. America needs no explanation for why another country is doing what they think is good for their country.

Why Africa & not other part of the world 🌎 because they still had the colonial master mindset. That Africa belongs to them.

If the imf wants to attach your loan to homosexualitiy then Ghana revoked the loan as these bills are passed by parliament imf cannot dictate what happened in Ghana

World Bank or IMF cannot do that, and in fact, they haven't said that.Anyway, if they did that, Ghana has leverage it can use against them too.

I suspect that these World Bank restrictions to Ghana are not really about LGBTQ rights. If so, why didn’t they do the same thing to the USA during the Civil Rights movement?🤨

I'm confuse why the U.S. and World Bank is so determined to force Ghana to adhere to LGBT rights. The U.S. do not provide basic rights for black LGBT and black citizens, and the World Bank does not support African nations any way. The World Bank provide high interest loans to African nations who aspire to build up their land.
