The little seedings are so cute! I've never seen a pink pineapple. I have the top of a yellow one put in water, trying to sprout some roots. Not sure it's going to work though. I'll have much better luck with my tomatoes, I'd say!
Patents are only for asexual propagation e.g. the tops. The seeds probably won’t yield pink pineapples because the original IG genetically modified, not a hybrid.
I always said to myself, “Self, pink pineapples are patented…but how would anyone know if you’ve grown your own?!”
