Great cards Scott. Sorry I didn’t see these sooner, wow! I’m a 62-year Packer fan from Toronto & my focus is any Packer card & other football HOFers. I just returned to collecting 5 years ago so I have some catching up to do but I do have a 1950 Bowman Billy Grimes, a run of 52, 53, & 56 of Tobin Rote (who played 3 years for my Toronto Argonauts) & a 58, 59, 61, 63, 65, 68, 70 & 71 Topps run of Bart Starr. It’s a start anyway 😉
Pretty sweet cards. One thing to keep in mind about pop reports, a lot of us old collectors never sent our stuff in to get graded… For every graded example, there’s got to be at least 3-4x ungraded… likely more. 👍🤪😎
Stuff like you showed here is why your channel is in my handful of favorites and I don't think I've missed an episode since subscribing. Can't wait to see the next one. I agree that the early Bowman sets are works of art. They are two of my favorite designs ever. While I love that the 1950 set just looks like a bunch of artwork, I love the old team logos on 1951. I have a hard time choosing a favorite of the two.
I am glad to be one of your favorites Kin!!! That is saying a lot considering all the different platforms you take part in! For me its 1950, 1952, 1951. For whatever reason the 51B does not have any Packers Team HOF RCs so the other two Bowman sets are more relavant for what I collect. I am super happy to have the 51 B Emlen Tunnell RC though. Hope you are well!
Such an amazing showcase Scott!!! I was hoping you were going to show the 51 Bowman Canadeo... the absolute definition of what a vintage football card should look like! Enjoyed this one brother! Looking forward to the next episode :)
Thanks a lot Josh! You're right on that 51 Canadeo...it really is just a picturesque football card. Hopefully will get the rest of the 1950s showcase out soon! Be well my friend!
Amazing job Scott. I know that kind of collecting takes years and a lot of patience! I'm lucky the Bills didnt start until 1960 b ut i do love the look at some of those older sets
Exquisite as usual. Thanks for the inspiration. Didn't know about "Tiny" Engebretsen, but amused to see that at 6'1, 238--his nickname was, as I hoped, ironic ha.
Haha!! Thanks so much for checking out the video Don! Sorry, just saw this comment now for some reason. This is definitely my true passion. The one thing about vintage football cards, even hofers, is that the overall Pops are so insanely low compared to baseball. For that reason alone I feel vintage football is a good place to be. More than that though, it is what I truly enjoy collecting!!
Great video stunning cards wow

Insane collection Scott. I love the older cards where the image looks like a painting rather than an actual photo
Thank you very much! Me too man. A lot of these older cards are just art.
Awesome cards! Love the 1951 Bowman Canadeo as well!
Thanks a lot man! That card just oozes vintage football.
