Thanks for country logic. Saved myself $25. Thanks
Cool
This information is 100% correct. I watched it yesterday, bought the replacement handle, banged it in as described. It is in solid! Got back to work in the garden, tuckered out, and grinning ear to ear that it worked.
Wow lol I've been holding onto my rake head and handle, I thought it was held together with thoughts and prayers but now I can fix it 😂
Great video and thanks for the repair process. I was able to preserve the rake head I've used for 40 years, now on a new handle!
Thanks!
Welcome!
Excellent Solution. Straightforward. And it worked!!! THANK YOU
Straight to the point and helpful. Great video
Thank you because all the other videos are showing. You have to have Table Mounted drills and saws and all this c*** Just replace a rakehead thank you very much.
Glad I could help
Thats is the best way to replace the rake handle i found the staple at the end is so the end of the handle doesn't sparl and all i did was sank it in place when you install the head with the dead blows on the ground as shown in your video . Thank you for this awesome simple video. Your awesome.
Thanks for sharing the info about the staple. I love reading the comments, I learn a lot from them.
You just blew my mind! 😂 I have a rake head lying in the yard after I worked it to death. I knew it could be repaired but had no idea how.
I hope it works for you
Wow, thank you so much!! I’m going to Home Depot and buy a new handle 👍🏼
Thank you. Getting a new handle tomorrow
'Preciate you!
Great job! Thanks for sharing!
Perfect, thanks for this!
Thank you!!! Mine was a bit stubborn..but it went!
Good job. Thank you.
Thank you so much. God bless
Thank you bro!
Hi, mine rotted out because I left it in the rain. I couldn't figure out if the new one had a hole or a split. Obviously the tang is not round so a round hole seemed odd. But you're video showed me the hole is round. So I just cut off the rot and will drill a new hole, taper the end to fit the collar and force it on like u did. I'm an old school carpenter too, so I m well aware of the method of tightening up tool handles 😃. Thanks ma friend.
Great job.
I’m headed to Lowe’s Thanks
Nice video man
Wow! Thanks!!!
One of my guys just brok my biw rake handle and I was trying to figure out how to do it......this tip worked amazing took maybe 40 seconds
Cool
Thank you sir', Gonna check and see if Ace Hardware has the handle I have a vintage rake head that I really didn't want to just toss out.
Perfect I didn't know that but thanks for the tip hahahah no homo
You tapping it on the ground reminds me of the beginning of green acres tv series. Damn I’m old
lol
just like an axe or hammer handle
Hey bro a new rake is $20 at harbor freight
I tried it and it took way more than two strikes. Do yourself a favor and just buy a brand new rake.
wondered how the heck to mount my new handle... it's that easy... thanks a lot!
