cheap and effective cachaca. Maybe my palette isn't as refined but for caipirinhas, this does the job just fine! I've tried novo fogo and made a caipirinha but seriously it doesn't justify the price difference for me.

friend, do some research on Rainha Paraibana cachaça, Claudionor, they are wonderful cachaças, they are the portrait of Brazil!

Agreed - when mixed into a caipirinha the nuances are tough to differentiate.
