Only a great band could move ahead after losing such a reputed guitarist like Saki and there you have Nemophila. I see on Instagram poor Mayu has blisters all over her left hand finger tips from working so hard during rehearsal. Mayu said Nemophila are now a 4 piece band and she will scale that wall no matter how hard it gets.

Watched the stream when it came out there is nothing to worry about Saki departs whether or not it was short notice who knows and Mayu steps up and makes up the second Guitar in the band .I do know Hazuki took Mayu effect peddle shopping most girls go cloth shopping not these LOL With Hazuki taking Mayu under her wing and Tamu can play a rock and get a tune out of it It wont be long before she is shredding LOL .I watched a twit cast over 2 years ago where Mayu played a bit of guitar and she could only play open cords then ,come on a bit i would say .Long live Nemophila LOL. Hope your getting better Brandon.

So Nemo are already adapting and now have a more gritty sound , what sounds so good , of cause we will all miss Saki but listening to this song I say put on your seat belts and get ready for one hell of a rock ride . I have the impression that Saki's departure was well digested, which allowed Mayu to reveal hidden talents because I didn't know she played the guitar. And very good too ! Well done ladies.

I'll wait and see. One of their performance strengths was Mayu unleashed to move all over the stage. I think they'll end up with a "hired gun" second guitar for concerts.
Actually I'm more interested in what Saki is up to, been a fan of her long before Nemophila.

@@OldMrB they could like Yashiro did with Mary’s Blood. That though was a long time thing and she could have joined but did not want the commitment. I can understand them not rushing to just find someone. This band has always seemed right on and off stage understandable to find the right person organically.
I respect Mayu 100% on trying her guitar playing. But on the other hand, she is the one of the kind singing performer. IMHO, she and whole band is better Mayu concentrating on what she does best.

Estoy de acuerdo contigo amigo B. La batería estaba invasiva, mucho ruido y platillos! Pero se puede mejorar! Pero mi alegría y sorpresa absoluta es que Mayu esta con la voz , mejor que nunca! Me recuerda a varios cantantes, uno de ellos es bon Jovi, Dikinson hasta Axel Rose ! Tienen que darle buenas canciones Buenos arreglos musicales. Denle eso y Mayu lo vuelve un éxito! Nada es perfecto, Nemophila tiene un pequeño error a veces : abusa a veces de ruidos platillos exagerados un poco fuertes! Y puede molestar y saturar a algunos conocedores como nosotros ! pero se puede mejorar Dile amigo a Mayu ella esta un poco triste, pero siempre escucha una recomendación! Es genial! Saludos 👍

Nemophila has held many successful online streamings since 2021, from 2022 to the end of 2023 they have played several consistently well-attended live shows in Japan. They have played 2 live concert series in USA plus a festival. Then in summer 2023 a concert in a large hall (8000) plus livestream and in February 2024 Budokan concert + livestream with a very large audience.
I had the feeling that this was all more or less quite successful. I had the feeling that the band was therefore very well positioned financially for 2024. A top band that has caused a furor with 2 of the best leads over 4 years does not replace the departed Saki ??? That's like replacing a defective high-speed tire on a Porsche with a rubber wheel from a wheelbarrow. That looks like weakness. Nemophila reaction videos have become fewer, the view numbers have gone down a lot. I'm disappointed, not with the women, but with the management. None of this is good marketing for the situation. I'm really worried about all of this. 🥴🤨

What are you talking about? Saki DOES write music. She's recently released a track on her own CZcams channel. And she's working on more. She also had a project with Frédéric Leclerc, formerly of DragonForce - Amahiru. She's going to be fine. Don't you dare diss her. The Nemophila girls wouldn't.
@@OldMrB She'll do more special stuff in future, just not with them. I just don't want them to be a lead-and-rhythm band. I hope it works out for them, but I'm concerned they won't be able to do their back catalogue as it should be played.
