At 21:25, bishop Militheos of IOC claims that the masnapsa (properly known as e'skemo) which is the headgear of the monks, is from the Coptic tradition and not the Syriac Orthodox. However, bishop Militheos is mistaken. The Copts themselves admit, that they started using the masnapsa later, and in the recent century it was reintroduced by Coptic Orthodox Pope Shenouda III of thrice blessed memory. Earlier, in the 50s. Pope Shenouda who was then a monk of the Syrian Monastery in Egypt began to use the masnaphtha at his monastery. Even after this was reintroduced church-wide in 1971 following his ascent to the Coptic Patriarchal Throne, many Coptic monks were not willing to follow the use of masnaphtha (it was seen as a sign of their rebellion against him) so in 1996 the Coptic Church made an official order.
The following is an excerpt about the use of "masnaphtha" in Coptic Orthodox Church.

Bishop Militheos and the rest of the Indian Orthodox Church continue to say this division within Malankara is not a matter of faith. However, this conjecture is absolutely false. Even bishop Thomas Mar Athanasius (before he left to the IOC), wrote a book firmly explaining why the division from 1912 is not simply a matter of administration and wealth, but a fundamental issue of belief. The book is titled "Ithu Viswasathinte Karyam" or "This is a Matter of Faith."
The Malankara Jacobites believe without a shred of doubt that the grace of the Priesthood and the authority of the sacraments comes from the Holy See of Antioch and the Syriac Orthodox Patriarchate. This was and always will be the faith of the Malankara Church. It was the faith of our saints and forefathers, and it will continue to be the faith of our coming generations.
One of the brightest minds of the Malankara Church (before the IOC split in 1912) was the future founder of IOC himself, bishop Vattasseril Dionysius.
Mor Dionysius Geevarghese Vattasseril wrote a book entitled, "Mathopadesa Sarangal" or "Quintessence of Religious Doctrine" which was published in 1900AD. This book was prepared by him to expound the doctrine of the true Orthodox faith for the people of Malankara. It was written in Malayalam for Malayalees to read and understand in simple terms, what do we as the Malankara Church honestly believe.
In Chapter 10-Section 6, Dionysius Vattasseril writes about the Holy Orders, and specifically describes the validity of Apostolic Succession in Malankara. The translation of his words in English are as follows:
"No one can preach publicly or minister in the Church without having valid apostolic succession and sanction from proper authorities. The supreme sacerdotal authority of the Church vests with His Holiness Ignatius, the Patriarch of the See of Antioch."
From the day of writing this book, and even until his death Dionysius Vattasseril never attempted to change these words, or republish the book with an altered stance. Even Dionysius Vattasseril believed firmly that the Patriarch of Antioch and all the East was the Supreme authority of the Malankara Church. He was consecrated as a bishop of the Malankara Jacobite Church by the Patriarch of Antioch Moran Mor Ignatius Abde d-Aloho II of thrice blessed memory!
Is it any wonder that even 2 decades after the split, before he died Mor Dionysius Vattasseril made it a priority to have his excommunication lifted by the Patriarch of Antioch? Why would someone who claimed to be independent of the Patriarchate, and under a supposed autocephalous "Catholicate" be so adamant that his excommunication by a Patriarch of another church should be lifted, and therefore return to the good graces of the Antiochian Holy See before he died?

അതിനാൽ കളിക്കാരിൽ നിന്ന്, ഒരു സമാധാനം അസാധമാണ്.

കാരണം, അവനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന ഒരാൾക്ക്, യേശുവിൻറെ മറ്റൊരു സ്നേഹിതനെ എങ്ങനെ വേദനിപ്പിക്കാൻ കഴിയും.
3 ) ദൈവീക വഴി
തന്നെ ക്രൂശിൽ തറച്ചവർക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രാർഥിച്ച കർത്താവ്, അവനെ വേദനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന നാം ഓരോരുത്തരോടും ക്ഷമിച്ചുകൊണ്ടേ ഇരിക്കും.
കാരണം നാം എത്ര വേദനിപ്പിച്ചാലും എത്ര മുറിവേല്പിച്ചാലും, അവൻ ഇപ്പോഴും നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.
