I think in a decade or two the VR technologies will push the limits so far that you'll be able to completely submerge into this good old Cube Land (a reference, yeah) of Minecraft or any other virtual world. Can't wait to see and enjoy something of it =)
Every couple months I hop back on Minecraft and don't get very far. It just doesn't feel the same as it used to. It's still fun, yes, but nothing will replace the good times of being a kid and playing Minecraft. I am currently writing this comment with tears running down my face. I met my best friend on this game. 2014, nearly 10 years ago. Xbox 360, now we’re on the ps5 getting bored after an hour of playing games. We met for the first time in person in the summer of 2019, a top 5 moments of my life. We’ve been through so much. Ive met people in middle school who didn’t last, I met people in high school who didn’t last. Yet here I am, 20 years old, still talking to my best friend everyday. We met through the game of Minecraft, some random kid who joined my Minecraft world looking for someone to play with. Little did I know that kid would become my best friend. Simply blessed for that moment. There’s nobody on this earth I look up too who’s on the same level as him. Love ya Philip.

Exactly, it isn't the same... And sadly, it never will be. Minecraft isn't just a game- it's a feeling. Back in the day all those years ago, when we spent our days playing Minecraft, and other games with our friends/relatives, when our biggest worry in life was having the most fun each day. We grew up. And when that happened, we lost the innocence we'd had back then and couldn't find the same joy in the things we held so dear because we ourselves have changed, and in Minecraft changed as well. The feeling was lost, and it would never be recovered again. As painful as it is to admit, there's no going back now. We're here to stay in the now where we belong as adults. It's true that the feeling that made Minecraft so powerful for us so long ago has all but faded now. But we have new feelings now. Even just in this comment section, you can find countless souls like yourself musing about the nostalgia we have of the "good old days" when we played Minecraft. The stories we can tell each other from the blocks we mined and the blocks we crafted, the friends we made and the friends we lost, the houses we built and the houses we destroyed, we carry it in our hearts forever. Everyone in this generation is depressed because, everyone has that Related nostalgia feeling. It's been capture through CZcams, All the moments as being a child is captured on youtube, Games we played, CZcamsrs we watched, showing a new game / video to your friends. It all brings those memory's back, by a simple song or playing games. The simplicity we had as kids was wonderful, now that we grew up, we have to deal with bigger stuff. Crazy how far 10 years has gone by, I remember watching every single DanTDM video, Popularmnos as well. Those were the good old days where I wasn't full of the world's depressive state. Back then my life was simple, just go to school and play minecraft xd. And while I miss those times, life goes on and life is short. Bro nothing can make someone cry more than this. Minecraft is by far the bast game ever made bro. This formed so many memories. I had a friend named David on ps3 and we would always play together everyday. David and I had a blast all the time. This was the time when you came home from school having little to no homework, doing it as fast as you could and hopping on Minecraft to chill. im getting tired of remembering all my old memories of this game, all the worlds with shitty little towns i was so proud of, my old friends from school that would stay up with me for hours not thinking anything of it. All for it to just be a distant recollection of freedom and childhood that i now look back at while im finding it hard to find fun on video games as much as they used to be, and that feeling of not caring about the future and just being a kid. To speak personally, the minecraft soundtrack makes me feel really sad when I hear it. it's a sad nostalgia for me, thinking back to 2015 when i was only 7 or 8, and just playing my favorite game, no pressure to do anything, school was easy, and life was easy. nowadays, I can only dream of the past, and that's what's wrong with our society, we can only beg for that small amount of time to be a kid again. funny to imagine we ever wanted to grow up, because life is so much harder than it used to be. You can miss the time you used to have or you can live the time you have now so you can feel like you lived your life to the fullest. I'm done crying. I've cried for too long and too much. My eyes are dried up empty tired wells. Too used up to renew. Too old to bring back to life. Too young to fade away. It truly is painful and frustrating knowing that we can never go back to these simplest of times. I met friends I knew for a decade on this game. I made so many good memories from Minecraft. I watch these videos and think back. Why does time move on and why do my friendships we made on here go away. I realized the friendships you made and all the memories are still in your heart. You remember the people in the past not the ones who moved on and left you. You will always remember those people not the current ones. They might come back to these videos too, but I love this quote “you don’t realize you have a good thing til it’s gone” because it’s so true. I honestly prefer online friends over real life friends. The first time i played minecraft i was stuck in 1,0 for 2 years then realized there is something called updates. Those 2 years were one of the happiest years in my life.
me and my 2 friends, we were close and we used to hop on the game and play Minecraft for hours. it could be bedwars, survival or creative. after we had to get off at nights, we would still try to hop on the game after bed times and just hop right back on and start laughing and chatting like there was no tmrw. they were the only friends I had at the time and now that I'm back on Minecraft the nostalgia just hit me so hard and i broke into tears, i miss those times.

I remember when i was four and my brother was 8 years old, we got our first electronic devices and we played multiple games together, like geometry dash and minecraft. We built a house in minecraft with those classic red beds and bookshelves, I remember the days where endermen would literally jumpscare me and i had to let my brother take them out because i was so scared of those black, skinny, purple-eyed monsters. Few years later we both stopped playing the game, until I recently got it again and watched this video, that's when I realized it's been a whole 9 years. My brother is about to get into university and we are only counting down the days until he stops living with us and grows up. Time flies man, me and my brother haven't played a game together since 2016. Fucking miss it bro, now I'm about to enter high school and... who knows what I will have time for then. The Minecraft songs just make remember my 5th grade life, it is so simple and that's the time my class love play minecraft in computer lessons because i show them how to download it and played survival together in a cloud hosted server. The time before the last goodbye was said together. I can't just stop thinking about it because I had so much fun with my friends at the end of the year. Now finally, GG, 7th grade, 2 years later, still remembered that memory.

I still remember back in 2015 where i was sitting at my ps3 on a rainy sunday night my parents were sleeping and i just played Minecraft, i fell asleep after 2 hours in the game. I still remember those good ol' times when i was still happy.
Minecraft is geniunely a game that has transcended the title of game, deservedly, as it, and these very iconic songs, shaped parts of millions of people's lives, oftentimes for the better. No other game can say the same. Notch very well made the most effective escape from reality that anyone could ever dream of, limitless creativity and opportunity. In Minecraft, imagination is the only frontier than can be broken. Our innocent childhood imaginations were fully pleased by this game. I genuinely miss that part of my life. I think I speak for everyone when I saw I desperately want that part of me back.

i grew up without minecraft, to me, minecraft was luxury only the luckiest and most properous kids could experience, it took me 4 years to finally convince my parents to get me minecraft in 2020 even tho that wasnt too long ago, this still gives me nostaliga for those days of the pandemic and quarantine

Salutations soldiers, since we are all here listening to these beautiful tracks I may aswell share my story. It started off as nothing out of the ordinary, spawning in and mining a tree for some wood to make some basic tools, just creating the basics in order to survive. The first house I made I remember it as if it was yesterday, a simple dirt hut with a crafting table and a furnace, nothing to write home about just a place to survive the first night to think about all the possibilities and forward planning. I made a small mine, since this was probably around 11-12 years ago? I thought why not try my first mining expedition what could go wrong? So I set off and embarked down the mine I made and kept digging slowly and steadily making progress as I slowly descended deeper into the underground. It wasn’t long before the tunnel I created opened up into a cave, I froze for a second to think about my next move as I thought it could potentially be dangerous, I placed a torch and slowly crept forward into the cave slowly analysing the area and there it was… As blue as they come, in the corner almost hiding from sight a diamond ore. I gasped as I was so excited to finally find my first ever diamond in survival mode. I quickly rushed to create an iron pickaxe from what I had collected as I was digging downwards from before. As all seemed to be going so swell I slowly waited anxiously yet excitedly to collect my iron to make a pickaxe, then it happened a skeleton manoeuvred around the corner and attacked I was surprised yet unready for the encounter but I prevailed. Not only that day I found my first diamond I killed my first enemy. That is a day I will never forget, just a small memory truly encapsulated within my heart from this beautiful game we all know and love. Thank you notch and mojang.
As a young teenager. 2020-2023 is still hell for me. Everybody here is talking about turning 18, and here I am. A 13 year old sobbing about a block game with 7-8 years of memories. I guess screens is the life now and that’s how I am now, but soon I’ll be gone. But I’ll be back to see you again minecraft.. I’ll be back here in this video, when I will soon become an adult. It’s insane to think that in 5 years, I would be an adult going to college. I don’t have everything planned out, but with my goal to better myself. I hope that I will be able to go to college and live life for god. Thank the lord for all of this, It’s incredible how the human brain and body works. It’s also insane to be nostalgic to such things even though your not, well 18 I guess. But believe me, if I could go back just for a day, I would. But time goes on, and we must go on with it too. Today I’ve listened to a lot of nostalgic minecraft songs. They bring me back to a time i was ten. Minecraft turned 10 and released the birthday map. I was on pocket edition. I explored and had so much fun. The map was amazing. I want to revisit and see how much things have changed. I remember the old nether. The ugly nether. It feels better than the new nether. The adult world seems like hell tbh. Having to fit into the mold and be expected to know everything but when you're a kid people are kinder, more caring of your interest and passions, and you feel mostly happy. You don’t have a lot of memories yet so nostalgia doesn’t exist for you and you’re more focused on the moment. But now we’re big kids. Partners drama fear college all that. Our parents are aging, maybe some of our grand parents or family members are no longer here. Idk about anyone else but I feel like I’m empty..? Idk I feel like I’m hollow inside. Every couple months I hop back on Minecraft and don't get very far. It just doesn't feel the same as it used to. It's still fun, yes, but nothing will replace the good times of being a kid and playing Minecraft. I am currently writing this comment with tears running down my face. I met my best friend on this game. 2014, nearly 10 years ago. Xbox 360, now we’re on the ps5 getting bored after an hour of playing games. We met for the first time in person in the summer of 2019, a top 5 moments of my life. We’ve been through so much. Ive met people in middle school who didn’t last, I met people in high school who didn’t last. Yet here I am, 20 years old, still talking to my best friend everyday. We met through the game of Minecraft, some random kid who joined my Minecraft world looking for someone to play with. Little did I know that kid would become my best friend. Back in the day all those years ago, when we spent our days playing Minecraft, and other games with our friends/relatives, when our biggest worry in life was having the most fun each day.
We grew up. And when that happened, we lost the innocence we'd had back then and couldn't find the same joy in the things we held so dear because we ourselves have changed, and in Minecraft changed as well. The feeling was lost, and it would never be recovered again. As painful as it is to admit, there's no going back now. We're here to stay in the now where we belong as adults.
It's true that the feeling that made Minecraft so powerful for us so long ago has all but faded now. But we have new feelings now. Even just in this comment section, you can find countless souls like yourself musing about the nostalgia we have of the "good old days" when we played Minecraft. The stories we can tell each other from the blocks we mined and the blocks we crafted, the friends we made and the friends we lost, the houses we built and the houses we destroyed, we carry it in our hearts forever.
But it doesn't have to die in our hearts either. While it's true it'll never be the same, there's beauty in that as well. Just think of all the different things you can build today that weren't even conceivable when you last played it. Houses, mines, bases, cities- even entire worlds- nothing is impossible. Think of how far we've come since those days of dirt, diamond, and gold houses. We can still pick up our tools and our blocks, and build a _new_ future together.

It's been capture through CZcams, All the moments as being a child is captured on youtube, Games we played, CZcamsrs we watched, showing a new game / video to your friends.
It all brings those memory's back, by a simple song or playing games.
The simplicity we had as kids was wonderful, now that we grew up, we have to deal with bigger stuff.

Crazy how far 10 years has gone by, I remember watching every single DanTDM video, Popularmnos as well. Those were the good old days where I wasn't full of the world's depressive state. Back then my life was simple, just go to school and play minecraft xd. And while I miss those times, life goes on and life is short. And remember there is no way to go back, so make sure you enjoy every single minute of it. This is something I wished I knew earlier, and something I'm still working on. Personally as someone with mental issues and so many worries, it may seem tough but in the end. Life is life, what has been done is done, and if you can't change it, just move on.

I had a friend named David on ps3 and we would always play together everyday. David and I had a blast all the time. This was the time when you came home from school having little to no homework, doing it as fast as you could and hopping on Minecraft to chill. I may seem crazy going into such depth about some video game, but, this video game was everything. It was my childhood, my source of happiness when I was feeling down, it was what kept me going through primary school, It was how I met most of my beloved friends who are now grown up like me. I hope that when I am on my deathbed, I can turn this on and listen to this for the last and final time before ascending into the heavens. Looking back at all the memories that I have made through this game. I'm sure many would agree with that statement.

I met friends I knew for a decade on this game. I made so many good memories from Minecraft. I watch these videos and think back. Why does time move on and why do my friendships we made on here go away. I realized the friendships you made and all the memories are still in your heart. You remember the people in the past not the ones who moved on and left you. You will always remember those people not the current ones. They might come back to these videos too, but I love this quote “you don’t realize you have a good thing til it’s gone” because it’s so true. I didn’t realize for many years I had a really good thing til it was gone and all my past friends moved on. It’s very sad.
I honestly prefer online friends over real life friends. The first time i played minecraft i was stuck in 1,0 for 2 years then realized there is something called updates. Those 2 years were one of the happiest years in my life.
me and my 2 friends, we were close and we used to hop on the game and play Minecraft for hours. it could be bedwars, survival or creative. after we had to get off at nights, we would still try to hop on the game after bed times and just hop right back on and start laughing and chatting like there was no tmrw. they were the only friends I had at the time and now that I'm back on Minecraft the nostalgia just hit me so hard and i broke into tears, i miss those times.

i miss enjoying minecraft like I did when I was a kid, Im 18, I have tried playing again at least once in a while but I dont really enjoy it. I remember spending hours and hours just building houses in survival or creative when I was 7,8,9,10,11,12 but not now

I remember when i was four and my brother was 8 years old, we got our first electronic devices and we played multiple games together, like geometry dash and minecraft. We built a house in minecraft with those classic red beds and bookshelves, I remember the days where endermen would literally jumpscare me and i had to let my brother take them out because i was so scared of those black, skinny, purple-eyed monsters. Few years later we both stopped playing the game, until I recently got it again and watched this video, that's when I realized it's been a whole 9 years. My brother is about to get into university and we are only counting down the days until he stops living with us and grows up. Time flies man, me and my brother haven't played a game together since 2016. Fucking miss it bro, now I'm about to enter high school and... who knows what I will have time for then. Love you minecraft.

The Minecraft songs just make remember my 5th grade life, it is so simple and that's the time my class love play minecraft in computer lessons because i show them how to download it and played survival together in a cloud hosted server. The time before the last goodbye was said together. I can't just stop thinking about it because I had so much fun with my friends at the end of the year. Now finally, GG, 7th grade, 2 years later, still remembered that memory.

Ive been Minecraft playing since version 15, and this is truly nostalgic. i started on Xbox 360 edition Minecraft, and it was fun playing all the minigames.
I still remember back in 2015 where i was sitting at my ps3 on a rainy sunday night my parents were sleeping and i just played Minecraft, i fell asleep after 2 hours in the game. I still remember those good ol' times when i was still happy.

Minecraft is geniunely a game that has transcended the title of game, deservedly, as it, and these very iconic songs, shaped parts of millions of people's lives, oftentimes for the better. No other game can say the same. Notch very well made the most effective escape from reality that anyone could ever dream of, limitless creativity and opportunity. In Minecraft, imagination is the only frontier than can be broken. Our innocent childhood imaginations were fully pleased by this game. I genuinely miss that part of my life. I think I speak for everyone when I saw I desperately want that part of me back.
Solitude in minecraft is so comforting. Wish the real world was like that aswell.

it's so beautiful how such a simple game can be such an integral part of so many childhoods. i feel like we can all relate to the feeling of wanting to be in the past, when everything, including the game, was simple and perfect.
i grew up without minecraft, to me, minecraft was luxury only the luckiest and most properous kids could experience, it took me 4 years to finally convince my parents to get me minecraft in 2020

I don't want to anymore so I'm simply trying not to. I'm still a teenager learning the ways of people and life, and I still got memories yet to make, but I don't want to ever make a memory so special that when I think of that memory that I made one day, I'll just suddenly start bursting into tears, and wish I could relive the moment, and indulge myself all the way back to when I was a baby,
to where I will be. I hope I make it to where I want to be in life. honestly, Minecraft has really helped my imagination grow so much that I still can imagine things people can't see in the clouds. I am also very good at improvising with very few things I have. I owe it all to Minecraft. ily Minecraft.
I will never forget this game. Not just because it is a good game, the best game some would call it. I will remember this game forever because of the memories I've made because of it. It's amazing how one game changed so much about my life, got me through so much and created much good friendships. Each person has their own story, minecraft takes up a big chapter in mine.

Salutations soldiers, since we are all here listening to these beautiful tracks I may aswell share my story.
It started off as nothing out of the ordinary, spawning in and mining a tree for some wood to make some basic tools, just creating the basics in order to survive.
The first house I made I remember it as if it was yesterday, a simple dirt hut with a crafting table and a furnace, nothing to write home about just a place to survive the first night to think about all the possibilities and forward planning.
I made a small mine, since this was probably around 11-12 years ago? I thought why not try my first mining expedition what could go wrong? So I set off and embarked down the mine I made and kept digging slowly and steadily making progress as I slowly descended deeper into the underground.
It wasn’t long before the tunnel I created opened up into a cave, I froze for a second to think about my next move as I thought it could potentially be dangerous, I placed a torch and slowly crept forward into the cave slowly analysing the area and there it was…
As blue as they come, in the corner almost hiding from sight a diamond ore. I gasped as I was so excited to finally find my first ever diamond in survival mode. I quickly rushed to create an iron pickaxe from what I had collected as I was digging downwards from before.
As all seemed to be going so swell I slowly waited anxiously yet excitedly to collect my iron to make a pickaxe, then it happened a skeleton manoeuvred around the corner and attacked I was surprised yet unready for the encounter but I prevailed. Not only that day I found my first diamond I killed my first enemy.
That is a day I will never forget, just a small memory truly encapsulated within my heart from this beautiful game we all know and love.

As a young teenager. 2020-2023 is still hell for me. Everybody here is talking about turning 18, and here I am. A 13 year old sobbing about a block game with 7-8 years of memories. I guess screens is the life now and that’s how I am now, but soon I’ll be gone. But I’ll be back to see you again minecraft.. I’ll be back here in this video, when I will soon become an adult. It’s insane to think that in 5 years, I would be an adult going to college. I don’t have everything planned out, but with my goal to better myself. I hope that I will be able to go to college and live life for god. Thank the lord for all of this, It’s incredible how the human brain and body works. It’s also insane to be nostalgic to such things even though your not, well 18 I guess. But believe me, if I could go back just for a day, I would. But time goes on, and we must go on with it too. Can’t live in the past, only look at it, we only have to look up to the future, and live in the present. Cause ngl, it is a present to be living. That sounded kinda cheesy but it’s facts. To whoever reads this, I hope you the best, and God bless you.

Today I’ve listened to a lot of nostalgic minecraft songs. They bring me back to a time i was ten. Minecraft turned 10 and released the birthday map. I was on pocket edition. I explored and had so much fun. The map was amazing. I want to revisit and see how much things have changed. I remember the old nether. The ugly nether. It feels better than the new nether. I wish things were simpler. I wish i could go back. But i must focus on the future i have now and going forward. It seems like nothing matters anymore. It will all end at some point. But something in me pushes me forward. Something. I wish i knew what it was. That something…
I still get into Minecraft from time to time, but it doesn't give the old taste... the old days were good. I couldn't wait to grow up as a child, but now I want to be a child more than growing up be happy and live your childhood... be strong and safe friends, you are loved...
The adult world seems like hell tbh. Having to fit into the mold and be expected to know everything but when you're a kid people are kinder, more caring of your interest and passions, and you feel mostly happy. You don’t have a lot of memories yet so nostalgia doesn’t exist for you and you’re more focused on the moment. But now we’re big kids. Partners drama fear college all that. Our parents are aging, maybe some of our grand parents or family members are no longer here. Idk about anyone else but I feel like I’m empty..? Idk I feel like I’m hollow inside. Missing days where we weren’t judged basically at all. I don’t want to put up an act forever now. But we don’t have a choice.

I'm 11 now. I know people will say "Your childhood still has not ended." I know. I just remember I was 6 or 9 years old playing Minecraft on my old dell laptop or computer. I wake up eat breakfast, put my clothes on and hop on Minecraft. Every. Single. Day...Minecraft just isn't the same anymore. I don't really play Minecraft. But deep down in my heart I still love playing bedwars and survival and creative mode with my best friend online. Good times...

Extraño ese tiempo, cuando no eran tan fuerte sabes, cuando podía jugar este juego con mi hermano y reír sin parar, cuando no existía eso llamado "inseguridades" en mi mente de niño pequeño, viendo a mis youtubers favoritos, construyendo casas de tierra, intentando terminar Minecraft y fallando múltiples veces, pero me divertía, después lo perdí, la primera persona tan importante para mí, tú vida se desmoronaba, pero ahí estaba ese videojuego de cubitos y música relajante, nuevamente estás aquí porque te encuentras tan roto y volviste a perder a alguien sin saber qué hiciste mal.
Está bien, es la vida.
Pero extraño tanto el pasado, me entristece saber que ya no está, que solo son recuerdos y que el ahora es solo un pozo oscuro donde solo encuentro lágrimas a toda hora y no encuentro un camino.
Han pasado años, muchos años, y si hay algo que agradezco, es la existencia de Minecraft y en general los videojuegos, que me hicieron conocer tantas personas y me unieron con mi familia, y me hicieron pasar buenos momentos en mis ahora rotas relaciones, agradezco todo lo bueno que sucedió, pero no puedo evitar sentirme desesperado porque ahora son solo eso, momentos, recuerdos hace años.
