⇢ Welcome to our CZcams channel. We are Leigh and Nick, a married couple from the UK (Technically we are civil partner shipped but hey it's close enough)
Due to a health scare in 2017, we decided to start enjoying life more outside our business. We bought a Lodge on the east coast of England and started vlogging our daily adventures
Join us as we explore the UK, Florida, Disney and further afield aswell as spending time at the Lodge on our own, with family and with our friends

My husband lost his dad 13 years ago nearly. And this just shows me how hurt he remains. Be kind to yourselves and take it all in your stride x
♥️♥️♥️ when someone close to us dies we dont get over it, we learn to move forward. Cherishing the happy the memories helps us to move forward. Hugs.
I lost my hubby to cancer one week short of our 15th wedding anniversary and just short of my 50th birthday. The pain never goes away, you just learn to handle it somehow. Don’t be hard on yourself. Everybody’s grief is individual. One day at a time. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer. From diagnosis to her passing was two months. More research is sorely needed for this type of cancer.
It is my Mam’s birthday today and she died in 2021, I miss her so much, she was a real character, sending lots of love to you both xxx
Awww Nick, don’t dwell on the what ifs, havin lost 2 friends with Pancreatic cancer the outcome is never good 😢 cherish your memories with ya mum & laugh at all the good times you’ve had 😊 we all want our parents to be with us forever but sadly it’s not the case 😢 keep loving life with Leigh & having lots of adventures together ❤

My dad passed over 30 years ago and I thinks about him every day . He passed when I was on my honeymoon in Greece and I had to fly back broken hearted . They say time is a healer and it is , but you will never ever forget . Continue to talk about mum and play songs she liked that remind you of her , it will bring you peace . It’s ok to feel sad and it’s also ok to laugh and let go . Mum is with you always . You’ll meet up with her again in the secret garden . It’s sunny there too . Sending hugs 🤗
Lost Mum in 2020 due to covid....i am on my own now, i struggle, and i know how Nick feels. I have a message for Nick, dont hide you feelings ,we all understand. Gail was a force to behold, and she will continue to be with you. You have a great partnwr in Leigh ( yes sometimes he gets on your nerves lol ,dont everchange him, you bounce of him. Just remember Nick you have our hearts and support always.....i still pick up

Try Beamish if you visit the North East. They also filmed a few Downton scenes there but is also just a great trip through time.
Sitting up in bed at 3am having a coffee was a norm for my husband and I, after both his parents died and more recently my dad. We seemed to have an internal alarm for 3am. But I do have to say we often sorted a lot out whilst sitting there chatting. It lasted for a few weeks each time, but we didn’t stress about it and it resolved itself in time. Losing a parent is hard and I can’t say it gets easier, we just adapt to it. I still miss my dad so much and it’s now 4 years. Look after yourselves and take each day as it comes. ❤️
Another great video.Thought your music intro was leading to a trip to Florida.We are going March 12-26.Orlando and Tampa.Then to Dallas,Texas for a week.Can’t wait,maybe you guys will be there.Cherish the moments and memories you had and you do not need to forget those to move forward with your guys’ lives.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I really think a trip to Orlando will do you good! I’m also a little selfish because I love your trips to Florida, and I hope you do one soon….miss the packing and the excitement building for the trips. I hope you guys find peace and closure to these sad times.

I live just outside Durham city..I can see the cathedral from the end of our street. Do another motorhome trip as there are some beautiful places to visit. We are off to Bamburgh for Easter weekend then Middlestone in Teasdale the weekend after. We bought our motorhome and named it the Matt mobile after my dad. He would have loved traveling with us. Take care of yourselves. There is no time limit on how long you should grieve. It's coming 23 year since my mam passed and 6 year for my dad. And some days it feels like yesterday xx
That happens everyday for loss of parent. Was a year yesterday and the text and phone daily is what hit me hard. Reason I moved for some joy! It’s so hard to find joy. Gets better but keep busy and sad times will be sad but yolo is now my motto. I always say my mom beat me to where we are all going. 💕

I still have the same theory as you Nick about the treatment actually shortening patients lives. Lost my dad in 2013 and the Radiotherapy just meant that his last few months were hell instead of quality time. Stay strong for each other x
Its all hindsight but at the time you wall want to cure them so you all agree to treatment as it seems the logical solution

I always say the chemo my mum had killed her and not the cancer. She went down hill so rapidly once she started the treatment, I just dont think her body could cope. Thinking of you, it takes time and there will always be something that triggers a memory, but memories are what you need as a comfort xx

Always wants to make us dance
Wider bands fit snugger so require a slightly larger size. So if she measured Leigh with a wider ring sizer that explains why the narrow band is too big. My husband was a goldsmith.
Alnwick Castle was where parts of Harry Potter was done, near Alnmouth , Berwick area, Highclere Castle in Hampshire for Downton to different ends of country lands 🙈
Aww my dad passed away 10 years ago in June and I still go to pick the phone up now to ring him or we’ll be talking about something and I’ll say “I’ll have to ask my dad” then it dawns on me 😢 we’ve also just lost our brother in law to non Hodgkin’s lymphoma 6 weeks ago, he passed away literally 5 days later from being diagnosed so we are all still in shock from that and to think we were all just in Florida 6 months ago 😢 aww Nick, my daughter, sister and I have that T shirt but mines pink, daughters is purple and sisters is black, I also ordered some transfers with our names on in Disney writing. Stay strong guys, you’re lucky to have each other ❤

The food at that Indian restaurant looked absolutely delicious. I actually am eating chicken masala for dinner (with sauce from a jar), and now I’m thinking it would be nice if I had some naan bread, though I don’t.
I'm seeing a fair few Disney trip hints... could there be a surprise reveal soon 🤔

Northumberland is beautiful. I'm born and bred in Hampshire but my dad is from Alnwick in Northumberland. The castle is where they filmed some Harry Potter stuff. Bamburgh is a lovely place to visit and I also love Rothbury. I would definitely recommend going there if you just need some time and space in the great outdoors to reflect and have some peace. So sorry about your mum Nick, look after yourself x

I still feel that now 13 years after my Dad. In that time I’ve lost both parents my husband 7 years ago. It will get easier. Leigh I have lost my engagement ring it’s in the house somewhere, where I don’t know xx

Bless you both. My husband passed away 13 years ago after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His oncologist told him that with chemotherapy he could probably live for 6 months but the effects would be “severe “. As a family we decided to simply enjoy life as much as possible, he passed away 7weeks after his diagnosis but we enjoyed those few weeks and have lovely memories. You’ll find that silly things remind you of your mum, you’ll laugh,cry and go through so many emotions. Love to you both x

Been 5 weeks since my mum passed and all I want to do is pick up the phone. I have so much to tell her. I have my mums mobile and I message her. It's so hard. Love to you both ❤️

The keyring someone sent of your mum Nick is so thoughtful and lovely. I loved it when you played the Florida vlog intro music, I always dance whenever I hear that! Oh also, I finished watching Happy Valley last week and oh my gosh! What an amazing series, even my husband started watching it as he kept getting distracted when I was watching it on my laptop whilst he was on the playstation. We didn't want it to end, we were hooked!x

Not sure if I am opening a can of worms... they say that you should not use 0% Fat yoghurt... even if you are on a regime... 0% Fat is not as beneficial as you may think, it usually has other thing in it, such as sugar.. to add flavour and texture.. but more importantly, I believe, the fat in full fat dairy products is a good fat, that pulls out bad fat from your system. I may not be explaining it well or understand fully.
Totally get that. Zero fat things is a con most of the time but sometimes we still fall for it and buy them
