👉 When I was 20 years old I wanted to write a piece to work on left hand arpeggios - this is what I came up with. This is a very simple chord pattern followed by a nice melody in the right hand.
💠 To me it's easier to work on fundamentals if there is an inspiring melody to go along with technique.
💠 It took me awhile to come up with a name for this piece but eventually landed on "Longing for Something" because that's sort of how I feel when I play it. In the future I might work on expanding this piece and developing a more dynamic and intricate melody.

✅A little about me:
I was a music major in my undergrad but switched over to pre-med to eventually become a Chiropractor. I've been off and on the piano since I was about 7 or 9. Over the last year I felt compelled or inspired if you will to take up piano again but this time give it all the effort it deserved eons ago. I practice for 2-3 hours per day and have a HUGE passion for recording and getting better at it. I would call myself an intermediate piano player slowly working my way up to advanced.
💠 I'm inspired by guys like Patrik Pietschmann, Montechait, Frank Tedesco, Marcus Veltri, and so many more composers, arrangers, and artists on this platform.
💠 It is my greatest hope to be able to write more music in the future.
