Great vid, Pastie, ver nice griddle. To save you time when setting it up, once you get the height that you want on the stand, mark each leg with a small white paint stick (or other) so when you slide the legs out you can see the mark, then tighten them and no need for the level. Cheers!
Thanks. That's a good idea when I'm on a level surface. If I'm at a park with uneven ground then I'll have to get it level. Thanks for watching and commenting Don.
Love the Blackstone..The burgers you can make on the griddle are amazing. 👍🏼 I have one of those for when we're camping. I seasoned mine in the oven. I guess there's a few ways to do it. Enjoy 🤙🏼
Nice! Just got done seasoning it outside. I even use my little torch to get the cooler spots in the front. The oven sounds like an easier way to do it. Good idea. We should do a griddling picnic this summer. You must also have a traveling size griddle or you have a gigantic over. lol Thanks for stopping by buddy!

Nice! I actually bought a lot of the accessories already. Dome, scraper, 4 spatulas, burger press, 4 squirt bottles, etc. First cook today after work! Bacon and smash burgers. I'll get in touch with you soon.
I always watch u for the sleds! Lol haha been for years! I been wanting to get a blackstone and saw u just posted this! Thank u for all the videos never give up and never stop!
Great Video 🤙 I believe that they made some improvements compared to the older versions. Do you have the exact dimension of the griddle base ? length x width Thank you!
Thanks. This is a new and current model. Walmart sells one the same size but it's not the same model. They actually have 3 different versions of the 22" griddle. I liked this one the best because it has the chrome handle and the chrome in the front. I'm not sure of the actual dimensions but you can find them in the link below the video. I also have a couple more videos of this griddle on my channel if you want to check them out. Thanks for watching.
The Blackstone go good product but has to be covered. I’m in San Diego and I had issues with rust on the lid, on the sides and on the front of the go. Going with the stainless steel next time and spray painting the lid with high temp paint from the start.
And you don't have a Blackstone. Burger restaurants have stainless steel griddles. These are carbon steel. First cook, not seasoned enough to be non stick. It is now after many cooks.

@@Paisteboy Yep ,,,, and you can also get some of those little stick-on level bubbles.
As always, an articulate vid. Thanks.
@@jonaozo540 Thanks! It's time to get it set up again for this season!
Awesome video! Very informative. My sister in-law just got one and had a hell of a time putting it together. This would of helped her for sure!
Thanks for watching Rob! I plan on making more videos with this over the summer. I just got done filming a video seasoning the griddle.
Thank for the information.
You're welcome.
This thing is really awesome. Your going to enjoy:)
Thanks Angelo. I seasoned it last night and I'm going to do the first cook tonight.

Thanks Derrek. I appreciate that. Tonight will be my first cook on it.
@@Paisteboy u should record it and make another video! Cause I will watch it!
I did. I also recorded the seasoning of the griddle too. I just have to edit them and they will be out there soon.👍
@@Paisteboy I can't wait to watch it!
👍
Hey Paiste. Are you going to post a video on you seasoning this before you use it?
Yes. That's what I am about to do right now.
Great Video 🤙

Bro You gunna take it to old forge next year.? Nothing like cooking in the cold.👍
I would consider it in the summer but I have too much stuff to bring with me in the winter already!. lol.
Season it with vegetable oil lightly
I used avocado oil for the first coat and the lard for the rest of the coats.
Can you hook these up to natural gas?
You have to buy the natural gas conversion kit but I think it is only available for the larger models.
You never worked in a burger restaurant.
The burgers should not stick at all.
If it is not working, adjust.
