One night in Kharazan was such a wacky adventure. Loved every bit of it. Especially the "chess" match
The entire adventure was based on the raid Karazhan from WoW. There was also a chess event, which is probably one of the wackiest "bosses" they have ever made. Instead of a boss fight it felt like a Mario Party minigame, but alas. And hey, it still dropped boss level loot!
I dont remember how i won that chess shit. My friend is still struggling with it lol
Absolutely hated the cards that came from it, though. Bottom 3 expansion/adventure

Well its not the same. It also cant heroes afterwards, not just on the turn its summoned.

@@tsui1024 You're right, it is different from just having Rush! I gotta say tho its kinda interesting that if it had "Rush. Can't attack heroes", the card would be the same despite keyword change 🤔

A challenge for you... Play blood DK and generate enough vampiric bloods to see what happens when you survive the Tornado at 17:07.
It would just use tornado again because it is a hero power

I remember beating it like 3 years ago after trying so, so many times. and also did it with a more or less custom deck. Having this card back for so lonng is one of my proudest achievements xD

Yo it's so cool, clearly an unintended bug but at 29:39 the location is cutting the windfury beam. I think the game is jsut registering it as 'something on the board' even though it should only be minions blocking the beam

God the heroic version of the chess match. An absolutely brutal fight. Iirc, it’s practically RNG if you can beat it, I think if the Black King plays a certain piece on a certain turn you just can’t win.

One Night heroic was the easiest adventure to finish Heroic on iirc. I'm glad you did the others first because I imagine it was more of a challenge

The dude just wantes to party lol. Then again, with how much mayhem he caused maybe Medivh keeping him out was the right call
The real challenge is getting to enough health where the wicked witch doesn't kill you with the tornado.
Jezus christ, he got the last boss on his third try or whatever? That, actually makes me really mad thinking about how disgustingly good dk's board clear combined with board presence is. (Other classes have gotten power crept too, but still). I have never won that fight, and i spent literal weeks trying to beat it back in the day, making different decks, trying new strategies, using every hero in an attempt to crack the code. And here he goes, using a meta deck and winning.
That f*cking chess bs made me crazy back in the days.
Play as many start of game effects in one deck as you can game is over before it starts

I havent played Hearthstone since the release of Naxxramas because it costs so much money to actually play, but watching your content is very enjoyable and seeing some of the golden oldies (reynad) here is amazing. Would love to see more challenges into these heroic adventures.

They should update the Mirror boss to use Magister’s Apprentice since it’s basically the same thing for that deck.

The absolute state of the game when the “control” variant of DK can’t control the board better than Frost and Unholy lol
Board control isn’t why “Control” decks are called that. They focus on outlasting the target as they line up their win condition which Blood does well. Traditionally aggressive decks have board control until the mass removals start hitting. The problem is adventure bosses cannot be outlasted on heroic when they’re crazy hyper-aggro reliably killing before turn 5.
I actually felt that when he said retire at 0-2. I retire after I lose 1 no matter what. Botting in arena is out of hand.

I saw Rarran at Blizzcon in Anaheim yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything. He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?” I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying. The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter. When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
Is that true? I don't think that he is not so nice person ...

knights of the frozen throne, kobolds, witchwood, boomsday and rastakhans all had free pve modes until rise of shadows. Felt dirty to pay for it so I stopped playing and it seems like blizzard has been going for more and more milking since.

So these bosses are dumb. For the Dorothy one, just jail him. Put jailer on the right and the boss will just keep running their minions into the taunt minions that can't die.

Not gonna lie, I got the Heroic card back for every adventure back when I played this game (5+ years ago) and I've thought about how cool this card back was a few times. I've even been tempted to play again just to check out all the stuff I collected back in the day, but then I remember my wallet would be drained instantly.
