Nooo stickers again! Can you tell Lego that people hate stickers and want prints 😢😢😢😢 f*** those f**** stickers 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 they will turn into dust in 10-20 years, they are hard to align, easy to damage, that make it hard to clean parts, they are freaking paper that has short life span, they also changing colors and often their default color doesn't match colors of parts😢
Please make a video, a call for uprising against all Lego sets with stickers!!! We must force Lego to stop using them once and for all! And we must force Lego release printing source documents for existing sets with stickers so people at least can print replacement stickers maybe on something more reliable like vinyl or metal, to replace got awful paper stickers💪💪💪
@@YOBAMUSTDIE I agree… but good luck! When you find stickers in sets as prestigious as Rivendell, they clearly have no qualms with using stickers.
@@mmo5366 we don't need luck we need coordinated massive Lego fans protest against stickers in future sets and demand for source stickers printing documents for replacement stickers of existing sets.
How many stickers have this new set? I'm in doubt if buy it or not. What I have appreciated by the castle is that it doesn't have a single sticker, everything is 🎨
When you really think about it, these Lego reveals are just big kids showing off their MOCs to their friends😂
Yep… and the problem with that is…?!?! 😂
And what’s more, getting paid to make those MoCs and present them. Who’s up for jelly? 😁
That’s true, if these big sets were released in the 90s when I was a kid, no way my parents would buy them for me
"Stickers or prints?" Tiago asking the real questions here.
People whistling when Lego is revealed will never stop being hilarious to me 😅
Reminds of that meme of the guy out walking with his girlfriend, turning to gawk and whistle at another woman passing by, lol.
@@arcturionblade1077 bro it’s plastic not a sexy lady lol
@@laserbeamlightning That's the crux of the meme joke, yes, lol.
People back in the day clapping and cheering at apple events when a simple random thing was added to software
Especially the goat...
Like wow!! New color!!
Love how everyone cheered at the mention of the new goat, that’s amazing.
Based on the thumbnail I clicked because I thought it was a review with you behind the set. Tricked again!
(FIRST LOOK)
Sorry though 🥲
Haha no worries, it's my monkey brain that's only looking at pictures and not video titles today!
Yeah, I thought the same - maybe Tiago could have his head peeping from the side of the thumbnail to show us that he’s looking at someone else’s demo instead of presenting his own? Love the videos btw 🙏🙌☀️
Thought the same. Was disappointed when it cut to the wide reveal shot
That clickbait thumbnail was surely no accident.
Every lego fan instantly recognize that nerdy voice asking the first question 😆😆😆
Quack quack 😂
Its Duck Bricks btw
No way duck brick really on this Lego content channel , while hearing him on this video he is so invested on this Lego. Duck bricks ask some incredible questions I felt proud to hear the designers response 😮🎉 shout off to duck bricks 🎉🎉🎉
Duck bricks is so well spoken, he should be doing the reveals for Lego lol
I love it, but it feels sort of empty somehow. I think it needed more figs and animals, such as chickens (Medieval villages in movies always have chickens running in the road), cows, and a horse. More side builds would've helped, maybe a fountain or a well. That huge tree in the original just brought everything together to make it a lively place. Brighter colors would've helped, and the black box isn't doing it any favors.
Yeah, I feel like it’s missing something. I didn’t have as positive a reaction as when the Viking village was revealed even though this set has way more minifigs (and some of them are very, very nice!). I think, maybe, the roofs need more finishing? Maybe it’s all the amazing medieval MOCs that are out there, but all the open studs on some of the roofs make the set feel unfinished. 🧐
Think it's just because the sets made with the idea of being an addition to the lion knights castle set
Great set, but maybe LEGO should have made several small sets of medieval buildings, with ~1000 pieces and costing 80~100 dollars, just like how they made separate building sets for the Harry Potter Diagon Alley. This way, castle fans would have more flexibility and access to a more affordable range of sets.
Can't wait for your upcoming review!
This was made as a updated version of the old medevil market so they made it in a big set.
100% agree
They should, you are absolutely right, but they are a corpo, they have no clue what fans what because of corpo greed
Agreed, but $229 is cheap by today's Lego standards😔 You could always go with the medieval sets from Funwhole or BlueBrixx.
It was cool when he closed the buildings up at 6:33, I didn't expect them to seamlessly turn into full models with all sides being closed. Very clever set designs :)
Yeah they felt bigger and more detailed than I've seen in pictures up to now. I want to 2x size this build but preserving the hinging will be tough!
I really wish this was a mini theme, instead of two buildings in one set, maybe four total buildings all in separate 80-100 dollar sets, allowing more more options and better budget options
Only thing I would say is that there is a shockingly low number of animals like cows and horses…unless they will be releasing smaller medieval/castle sets with those animals in them 🤞 Also I appreciate that they made the builds whole and complete with an opening aspect to them.
the audible groan when he said "too many stickers" 😂
After the no sticker situation in Lion Knights Castle was hoping for the same deal here... :(
Interesting to see how he himself is disappointed with the amount of stickers
“Limit to how much we can print.”
Did all the pad printing machines get bought up by Cobi, so that Lego can’t buy any? ;-)
@@TiagoCatarino Same here. I am planning on getting the castle, the el dorado fortress and the viking village, but skipping this. Dont want stickers, will get the mini fig with the goat instead.
Yeah, I was all in until he said too many stickers. I’m going to skip the set for that very reason. Love the goat and tax collector mini-figs, but not worth getting the whole set if those signs aren’t printed. That would have been the main reason to get it. So disappointing but not surprised unfortunately
“The daughter makes all the cheese for the town.” … no child labor laws in medieval times or in the Lego Icons collection.
😭😭
No school back then, and kids were all about adding them to the family labor pool - especially on farms.
Tiago, I have been watching you for a month now and after 30 years since I played with Lego for the last time, here I am: lion's knights castle, jazz club, boutique hotel, viking village, upscaled minifigure, galaxy explorer - decisions made following your recommendations. And I can't wait for this village! Greetings from Poland
Solid picks right there! Just don't buy too much, or go into financial problems please! It can get overwhelming really fast.
You can always rebuild the old sets! Enjoy :)
@@TiagoCatarino Thanks, no worries, I am a financially responsible person, finally I feel that I have re-found a passion hidden inside for so many years. I've convinced myself that I need a nice starting packages (for some own creations one day), and allocate some budget for it (I am close to the end though; old school space (not Star wars though)/middle ages/modulars, not interested in any other categories whatsoever). That being said, I do admire your 'buy responsibly' approach, you're a good man and trustworthy CZcamsr, keep doing the good job!
Gotta love how the presentor sounds like he needs a strong drink and a nap, dude sounds like he'd rather be at home.
a part of me is a bigger fan of the original medieval town set...Which is weird because this one is bigger, there is more variety to the buildings, shape heights, updated pieces and cool minifigs that tell a story that hasn't been told before (tax collector, shield painter etc). The interiors are far more detailed on this as well...So what is it that I liked better from the 2009 set? Maybe it's the color scheme? The window bay design on the original? I'm not really sure but there was a certain charm to that this set for whatever reason doesn't seem to resonate as much. either way its still awesome so I'm totally getting this.
Very nice set for the price. LEGO needs to get back to non-licensed sets as their flagship
I couldn't agree more. Non-licensed themes are the only reason I buy Lego.
Agreed... couldn't help but notice the Castle theme disappeared when all of the LOTR and Harry Potter sets began coming out (at higher, licensed prices). I could be wrong, but the Joust was one of the last and that was a loooong time ago.
Need more Black Falcon buildings. Something to go with the Blacksmith and the black and blue roof tiles. But I'm happy for the Lion Knights fans.
Great looking set, looking forward to combining it with Lion Knight Castle and Medieval Blacksmith
And I can’t believe you saw this many months ago and never let it slip. 😂
Nice to the see the goat in a new color! Thank you for sharing the info!
Looks pretty good although a bit less cohesive than the Viking Village but I can understand the gap in the middle and wanting to split the set in two parts for more custom modularity with the Lion Knight's Castle. I kinda wish they included a build for a fountain with a statue or something to truly represent the central focus of a town square. I may have to build my own with spare pieces.
Also wish there were more animals included like a chicken, pig, or cow. The inclusion of the gray goat, a bird and squirrel are decent starts but still feels a bit sparse on the animal side.
0:55 lowkey really dig that crowded look of the buildings, somehow feels 'authentic'
I love the storytelling behind this!!
I want to like it, but there is something OFF with it.
Chikens are CHEAP in making, so why this set dont come with 2-3?
I also dont like how everything castle needs to be so expensive nowadays
Seriously you don't like it because it's missing chickens? I get it I wish it had more animals too. But I have like 25 chickens that I can use. I see so many people saying they wanted this and that. We are starting to sound like spoiled children. I think the set is fine it has some really fun details and nice new figs.
Looks an incredible set!
Lol nice DuckBricks cameo. Set looks amazing. Love the characters
I recognized that voice immediately!
Super excited for this, especially since I recently picked up lions knight castle!
Looks fantastic will def get this for my lions Knight castle👍
Looks Amazing ! Can't wait to pick it up!
Looks a very charming set and love the new boat there. Looking forward to the up and coming reviews.
Can't wait to get my hands on this! Great to hear from the designer himself!
Excellent set! Well done to Chris & the team(s) who worked on the set! ⚔
Excited for this one ❤
I would happily pay extra to have no stickers, there are WAY too many stickers here!!!
I'm 100% buying this but I'm not happy about the stickers...
I'm more excited for the return of the Wolfpack faction than anything else!
This set looks so awesome 😎
I can't afford the Lion Knights Castle so this is perfect for me! Maybe one day...
the castle/inn looks nice, and i like how they're hinged.
Awesome. I'm not sad that i missed the Designer program fortress preorder anymore.
The reaction from the guys when the Wolfpack minifig was mentioned :D @2:57 True fans
And of course the first thing: a huge sticker.
This looks great! I need at least two!
i am so excited for this set
Very nice looking set I have to say, but I’ll probably wait until it’s been out a while and get it on sale
My favorite minifigure is the
embezzling tax collector
so cute 😂
I’m excited for this.
One of the building resembles the Guarded Inn set 6067 with red walls and guard tower and also the maiden holding the cup. Btw thanks for the great video upload!
I would really enjoy a castle/fantasy theme.
I was a big fan of the 2010 market village, so this is quite exciting.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
While lion knights castle honestly checked all the boxes at launch, my brother in law has one and imo it doesn't age well. So i took it off the list, and for this set, im happy that you all like it.
❤❤❤❤ say more than words. ;) i like your reviews. Thanks for share.
Looks like an early standout set for 2024 🙌
i think this might look great next to the medieval blacksmith, so i might consider it in the future with that in mind
It seems that the lack of a cow is quite controversial for this set. Even the senior designer mentioned the lack of a cow twice. I wonder if there was an argument with someone in the finance team at Lego, that if you want a new goat you are not getting a cow?
Interesting the Lego guy keeps saying the king when they only gave us a queen in the lion knights castle
Maybe it's a hint that there is a King coming in a set down the line.
Lego predicted that Frederik finally would become king this year!
so excited for the mclaren Senna set
I’M SOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED :D
It reminds me 6067 Guarded Inn released in 1980s!
Yo when that guy moved the corners of the first house, I gasped fr fr
This is an absolute win imho! Set actually telling multiple stories. Better than Castle and better than Blacksmith, which were both great sets already.
Will be great for my Seyda Neen-ish moc :D
Will buy 😊
The GOAT is coming back in a new color!
It's already out in the CMF series that's out right now.
@@bz6046 not in grey.
I wanted the Lion Knights Castle… Now I want both! (i’m broke)
Why do they always use a cloth to cover the models, when figures always fall down and parts fall off? I'm sure a large screen or a big box would be better.
Im seriously considering picking this up
I….NEED….IT!!!!
Honestly/ would be a great companion set to the lion knight’s castle
Getting this for the Bricklink castle
I'm about to build the Lion Knights Castle so the timing is great. So, Tiago, is the gwp going to be the mum, dad and cow?? Hmmmm. I've already been collecting animals for the LKC but another won't hurt 😁😁
Very nice❤
Can't wait for Wolfpack sets!
Wow Duck Bricks was really asking those hard hitting questions
Will Medieval Town Square extend shelf time of Classic Castle so people can buy both of them? Thanks!
Does this (and the castle) scale well with the Medieval Blacksmith?
Looks like there expanding on that castle set
That off-camera DuckBricks Collab though. 🦆
Tiago, I had a question for you. On the Lego Titanic behind the first funnel there is a black 1 x 4 stud piece in front of the first “key”. Any idea why it is black and not light tan like the rest of the deck? It’s bugging me and I might actually buy a separate piece just to make it look uniform. Was it an error?? I’m curious to hear your thoughts!
Thank you!
Saving already for it lol.
By the way, I am super glad that castle theme is alive, still waiting for more sets, especially for battle packs of lions and falkons
So, cheese makers but no cows. Hmm, has me wondering what LEGO might be planning. :-)
Thanks for the insights. I always love hearing from the designer!
The sticker situation is…😢😢😢
Wolfpack is reborn ❤ would love to get a wolfpack set in future
To be fair we got one back in the CMF series 16 the rogue was wolfpack.
Really empowering for a wannabe shieldmaiden to become shieldpainter because "it's not the period". LOLed at that one.
Coooooooool😊😊😊😊
Big castle year this year. Also 2 new castles at the brickmerge creator Programm
It's 'Bricklink Designer Programm'
But the first one, 'Mountain Fortress' from series one is already sold out completely o.o
@darkroy610 there's also the forest stronghold in round 3
Looks like im getting those medieval figures from Series 25 after all. I owe it to the old Castle theme
Yes yes yes !!!! we need more castle theme. Lego should start coming out with smaller sets so more people can afford it.
Cool
Wolfpack figure 🥰
Super looking forward to see what you have to say about the Senna MP4 set 👀
👀👀👀
🤔Cheese shop has a new type door???🤯🤯🤯
Nice set. Just a minor grip of mine.... why have a big drapped cloth for the reveal that you have to left up and potentially knock stuff down and break pieces off? Wouldnt it be easier to say have a black board that sits in front of model then you just pull the board off to the side to reveal said model? Just seems like more trouble than what its wroth with a big piece of cloth drapped over the model.
Also... WHY THE TILE IS NOT PRINTED???? This ALWAYS harms the sticker if you want to puy it in minifig hand!
Good point!
I'll wait for a 3in1 version to go with my 3in1 Medieval Castle!
There is no hint that a 3in1 version is coming.
This set is amazing
And a decent price
I wish it had more animals, cows especially, the designer mentioned they went to buy cows, so the cows should be included, even though the parents aren't there
The goat is cool
Feels like a Resident Evil 4 set lol
Tiago, how well does this set compare with the Medieval Blacksmith?
Horribly, both set’s great on their own, but the blacksmith is way to big for the village, the grass also doesn’t match.
Is that Duck bricks at 5:32?
What is this goat inside humor?
A LEGO element fans have been requesting to come back for years, as the last appearance was in 2012 in a single set driving the prices of LEGO goats in the aftermarket kinda of insane.
