Lord no one should be allow to hurt someone so horribly, I don't understand how John Fogerty lived thorough all those ugly years. All of us fans never stopped caring about him,we think there would not of been a CCR band if it had not been for John.
Hard to say. Played thru High School as friends. Golly Wogs and Blue Velvets as friends. As CCR he became Dictator. They lost the friendship and became paid musicians. No record companies would touch them. Tom on his deathbed said if it weren't for Fantasy Records, there would be no CCR. Tom, Stu and Doug have a completely different story than John does. They give him all the credit for CCR but also all the blame for the breakup.
CCR was not John's baby to begin with. He was not the force behind Golly Wogs or Blue Velvets. Tom was. When John took over, it was almost over as a band. I give him all the credit for popularity, songs, awards but I blame him for breakup too. The guys had no say so with contracts he signed that even he says, he didn't read or understand. All the contractual pressure was his fault alone. You know very few people associated with CCR agree with John. I think Tom settled it. On his deathbed, he blamed John. You just don't do that if it isn't true. Come on, you're dying.

Ese fracaso y rídiculo que hicieron siendo la gran banda que eran fue lo que terminó con CCR. No fueron contratos, ni tiranía de John, fueron los mediocres que insistieron en ser parte de como canta autores. Y se quejan en la actualidad que para John democracia era sinónimo de ultimátum.
@@ellaestere totalmente de acuerdo, además de lo que también se ha dicho es que la disqueria que tenian tuvo gran culpa de la destruccion de esta banda aparte de los cuatro miembros juntos que dejaron de ser un grupo para dejar fluir sus egos individuales, en síntesis, lo que pasó en la banda todos tuvieron su cuota de responsabilidad.

Either way, its pretty awesome that we have a black man as president, a woman and a Jewish man running for the office - THATS PROGRESS and forward thinking.
John Fogerty excellent singer with that raw voice. However he only served 2 years in the voluntary army..never went to Vietnam. CCR was a great band ...the whole band made CCR, they weren't John Fogerty back up band. John still regurgitates the same old story the last 50 years... Make peace with yourself...
