- Replacing a Mercedes B200 W246 A2469066000 windscreen wiper motor with a much cheaper A class version.
Common problem and the very expensive motor can be replaced with the motor from the A Class A1769061900 and others.

Thanks mate! Bought a A class motor from eBay for £23 and paid a mechanic £30 to fit. Job done! Local garage quoted me £300!

My driver side wiper is now completely stuck open about 1/3 of the way on the windshield since yesterday.
I've got an appoitment for a few things at MB in 15 days but now I'll know if they completely overcharge for this job and consider doing it myself after I get the quote for everything else I need.

great video, mine has been making that noise for a while and can't find anywhere in the world that has a replacement. it finally stopped working today on the way home in the rain. I'm going to do what you've done and I've ordered the a class one from ebay £20. fingers crossed. thanks

Hi, thanks for the video. Mine also has the noise so I get a motor for A Class as you did and preparing the replacement. Could you pls explain how you fine tune or adjust the positions of the arms or blades (starting from 21:54) so that they can cover the original areas?
Hi, as the wiper arms are on a splined shaft you take them off, then just rotate the arms a couple of splines and then reattach, you will see easier when you do the job, good luck.

I think if it looks the same in the pictures then its worth a chance, thats how I found out, and some are really cheap.
Hey, have the same problem my motor is just on the opposite site, cant seem to find from a class, but i found that in bmw they at least look the same, what do you think if it will fit, will it work? Because right now i putted the one like yours but when plugged doesn’t work
Have you looked on EBay there are lots. I doubt the BMW would fit.

How did you take the arms off? I can't even move mine.
Once you take off the nuts pour some wd40 down, leave for 10 mins and tap with a hammer, they will then come off easily.
