What's the total height of the Amp, Streamer, and CD player stacked together
I love the classic look with some great tech hidden inside.
They did a great job, as always!
Wow...That looks sharp! Super clean. Reminds me of some of the 1980's Harman Kardon electronics. NICE!
Which is fitting, considering Harman/Kardon later bought JBL.
It does! Thanks for watching 😁
This has been a great watch! Thanks for the great overview of our classic series!
Thanks! We appreciate your kind words 😆
As someone who saw companies like JBL on the sidelines of HiFi in the late 90s and 2000s it’s pleasantly shocking to see them release equipment of such quality.
Agreed!
Excellent look and feel for those new JBL components! Can't wait to give them a test drive!
Glad you like them! Hope you enjoy.
Love the looks of the Classic series!
We do too! Really great stuff!
These look excellent. I love that they have created an entire suite of new "vintage" products!
Agreed!!
Love the vintage look
Us too!
Love the retro look!
Agreed! Thanks for watching :)
JBL continues to innovate, frequent news from them.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching 😁
Nice to see proper matched hifi separates like the 90’s all manufacturers should do this like they used to
Exactly! Thanks for sharing
wow, impressive 👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
Impressive gear!
It sure is!
I thought JBL stands for Jingle Bells Laboratory, but it's James B Lansing in fact.
haha, thanks for watching
seems like alot of synergy between jbl and arcam, both under the harman group
Yes, they share a lot of the same great tech!
Yes
Yes!
Only thing missing are the VU meters. NAD got that part right.
Fair enough!
Is it a rebadged Arcam amp?
It shares a lot of the same great tech!
yes.
The turntable platter goes up and down.
This presenter has no clue how to handle a turntable. On 3:15 he lays his arm on the platter and you can see that there was some pressure on it.Second,he says that this turntable is pretty heavy?5kg is not heavy. It is too light for a turntable.
Thanks for the feedback. Someone else actually commented this also and it was clearly a mistake. Presenting can be hard and we are always trying to improve! Obviously we understand how to handle a turntable but we all make mistakes 🤷♂️
This is the core difference between an audiophile enthusiast and a marketing geek who only knows to read out the flier…
Dude, you are resting your arm on that turntable every now and then and even over the platter at times
JBL trying to emulate somewhere HK failed terribly in the midst of heavy weights from their peer groups. And the only thing going for them is to sight their legacy from over half a century ago…
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Obviously, that was a mistake by our host and was unintentional. Hosting videos can be difficult! We tried to make it very clear that this was an overview of the entire line and what our experience was like using them. If we didn't enjoy the products, we simply wouldn't have spent the time to go over everything for a potential customer. We appreciate your feedback so we can try to keep improving!
@@AudioAdvice Your sincere efforts are much appreciated. And I really really hope that the current lineup from JBL will stand like a true testament to your positive review. But having said that, some of their decisions and configurations hardly ever make sense. Like having a superior DAC within the Integrated rather than the Streamer.
Anyways, looking forward to checking it all out in the near future. Thank you for the detailed review
